review of zoids: battle legends

I have not played this game but I do know that this game is alot like the Japenesse zoids Gamecube Game that I have. It's called zoids vs. As you play with bit cloud as the pilot you will see that they both have the same back rounds like to destroy the other opponets zoid, to adventure off to other places to destoy other computer playing zoids, and to play a head on melle matches with your palls. This Game is a 1-4 player game and has alot of head on combat with other evil zoids all and all I would rate this the best game in all of history

FINIALLY!!!! The first Zoids Game to hit America. It should be exactly like the japanese game Zoids Versus. I think It will awsome I was thinking when I get the money to pay my mom to pre order it here in case it was going to be a big hit and be sold out everywhere. A basic layout of the game is in mission mode you do missions on the side of the republic or empire. Versus you battle a friend and the other mode is like Gran Turismo you get money for winning battles and purchase new Zoids and/or weapons and custom parts. You can 40 or more Zoids and change the color to make different Zoids. You also get to choose any pilot on the show even from the Chiaotic Century an New Century Zero.

Well to start of a have been a zoid fan since I first saw it. And I relly wanted to play a zoid game. And this game not only passed my standards but amazid evbody eles. Some of you might be wondering how I played this if its not out yet. Well this game is Zoid v.s but in american. ( My friend has a Japnese and an American gamecube) So now to tell you what this is about. Well in this your not Bit, Van, Raven, etc. ou are a new guy on eather empire or repuplic. ( Remding anbody of star wars?) Any way you stat with a Rev rator and a saper fang. You get other zoids over time and can custmize for your own needs. Rember when your playing dont be afarid to pick the zoid that got whiped by Bit and Van. And in V.S mode its 1 one 1. ( Which is the only thing that should have more players.) Here are some ideas for a pefect zoid for you. ( keep in mind you win mony which you need to buy zoid and is not as easy as it sounds.) If you like pure power I would buy the Dibision, Dark horn ( harry style.) Iron Kong, Elfander, and any thing like that. If speed is what you need ( Hey I Rymed I might be poeit and not know it. ok all stop being corney.) then a rev raptor, genosaur, ( what I like o lot)
besek fury, and all things smilar to that. So thats all I know so I bid you good-bye.

Fun but much too hard

I bought this game and cruised past the first 11 levels of mission mode as the republic and then once I got to the 12th...It wasn't pretty. Same goes for the battle mode. I got past the first 9 levels and then I had to face an ultra saurus pretty much alone because the "Partner" that you are forced to join with is incredibly stupid. The Ultra saurus can't be physically attacked because it has some electric force field on it so you get shocked if you actually make contact with it. Then your partner (being the dumbass that he is) just keeps on jumping right into him. Fortunately you can stop him from doing that by telling him to bombard the enemy but it's still very, very, very hard. Two player mode is really fun too because you can load customized zoids from your memory card into the game so that you and your friend can use your own zoids. Facing the computer is a joke though. Fists mode is alright, it's just VS. mode with a harder level that may have a hole in the middle or be on a plat form etc. I recommend this game to any zoids fan.

Ok, I've had this game ever since the first day it came out. Tons of zoids to choose from and tons of weapons. two different modes to play, I think story mode is the hardest, but I like the other one cause you can buy and sell zoids and weaps. So you can make your dream team (if you have the cash.) Partners are pretty stupid, you have to hit buttons so they help you out, but that doesn't always work. it was $30 when it CAME OUT, which is a CRAZY good steal. This game has every thing down to the smallest detail including special attacks such as strike laser claw for the liger zero and shadow fox. GREAT GAME, buy it all you zoids fans, might be all the fun you get since the newest show was canceled and that they don't make any more zoids (don't worry, I heard that there will be another zoids show and new zoids!)

i love this game, this is sooooooo much fun, My faviorite zoid is the command wolf. I have yet to beat an iron kong. But the only thing i wish this had was a ps2 version of it, so you could go online, and team up with other players and compite in tournament battles, that would be soo cool.
pros: cons:
good graphix charachters can get annoying
nice gamplay cant make a custom pilot
easy controls game gets very hard at times
good storyline some tournament matchups somtimes be unfair

for example: fighting two Gojuloses(the white T-re, not bursurke fury)at the same time.
but overalll i rate this a 11 out of 10 yeah its better than best

Overall, I loved this game. It was worth the week or so I had to wait to get it. xD

PROS:
The Zoids are just awesome. You can practically look at a model and then look at the screen and they look near identical.
The sound effects (excluding voiceacting) are very realistic. I'll just leave it at that. The background music was very well done also.
You won't get tired of this game fast. There are lots and lots of Zoids to unlock and two modes to get through.
It's addicting. Very. Addicting.

CONS:
My major complaint about this game is the voiceacting. Some of it's okay, but most of it just makes you want to immediately write complaint letters to Atari. I'd just turn the voices off during this game.
The shadows are really blocky and badly done. But it's nothing too noticeable.
SOME of the translation (kind of noticeable in Mission mode) is a bit messed up; misspellings and the like. But you'll get used to it.
The gameplay is kinda hard to get a complete grip on. Be prepared to experiment around in Versus Mode to totally get the hang of the controls...But it's worth it in the long run.

Overall, this game is just excellent...Excluding voicecasting. I'd get it while it's at this price before it becomes very hard-to-find.

Acaully "A Gamer" the game is a 1-2 player game and its not about bit cloud its about these 2 new characters the first on is on the republic side and the second is on the empire side you choose what side you want to be on in mission mode, but you are right about its Zoids vs. On battle mode you are your own person you get to battle other teams and you get to customize your own zoid by buying parts and chosing your own piolot each piolot has differet skills. and finally in versus mode you dont fight 4 at a time. Versus mode is 1 on 1 ONLY and you use the machines you have in battle mode.

i've been monitoring this games progress for a year and first it was supposed to come out march fifth but now it comes out in september , lets hope they stick to there deadline this time.
this game is a english version of two japaneese games that called Zoids Vs. and Zoids Vs.2 both of which are amzingly great.
Zoids battle legends is mainly zoids vs. but with the new zoids, upgrades, maps ,story lines, and weapons of zoids vs.2 put into english form. i guess the gameboy version will be OK but im not to interested mainly because with a game with so much potential it shouldn't have to be doomed with the bad graphics and sound of a gameboy,(no offense to the gameboy systems but your just not good enoughg to handle this kind of game.) I can't wait for this to come out they have zoids on this that aren't even seen through models and the show which might I add are totaly awesome.
The only downside I could posibly think of about this game is that it is only compatible with Gamecube but I guess as the game grows older they will make it availible to all the systems like they do with all the other really good games. Overall this should be the best game over all the mechanized robot action games mainly because there aren't to many of them but it should proove somewhat good if they have been advertising this long and that the japeneese version were a really big hit in Japan.
So save up and buy this as soon as possible becausre when they hit the shelves there gone in a minute to any passer byer as this happens with any new game trust me i know.
