If you thought waverace 64 was good than you're in for a treat. This game`s solid replay value, multiplayer maddness, high-speed racing, killer stunt mode, lush graphics and updated variety of players since it's last debut will make you wish you had a Jetski. No one does it better than Waverace when it comes to being tops!

This is a very fun game. There are 4 modes of play,Free rome wich lets you practice the levals you've unlocked [you start with 4]./Stunt mode, lets you go through the levals to get the largest score by doing trix,cancan,backflip,ect./Championship lets you pick the leval you want to do then you race and earn points depending on your rank when you finish./Multiplayer lets you play with up to 4 players at one time in stunt or race mode. The hardest part of the game is finding the right person to use do free rome with each one to find the one that does best to you. This game takes fast reflexes smaller kids should not play it will be to hard.

This game is a really good follow up from the original N64 version [which was good too]. If you've played the N64 version and liked it then you'll like this one a lot better. The graphics are really good and the gameplay is good. With a wide variety of levels, five different weathe patterns, and challenging gameplay that'll keep you busy for a long time. Not to mention the exceptional large number of modes and the three secret levels. I'd say this game is deinatley worth your moey. But you should only consider buying it if you've played and liked the N64 version. If not then at least rent it. The only thing that gets me is the people in the backround. They all look like cut out drawings! And they just stand there. But, there are oter things tha are cool and move. When you play and get up to the Hard cicuit, you might think that this game is too hard to waste your time. Well it's not. It's actually pretty easy after the tutorial and an adequate amount of practice. And even if you beat all the circuits, you probably won't get bored with the game. My pont is this game is really good in all categories and is definatleworth buying!!

With out any doubt this is the best water racer on any system. This games control is a little bit more difficult to learn then Wave Race 64. The only complaint I have about this game is it could use a few more levels. The graphics are better than any other water racing game because the water is so real life like and clear. You can change the weather from cloudy, rainy, and sunny. Some people might not like the voices because on most of the characters the only thing you hear them say is a bunch of hippie [junk]that becomes irritating to some people. On stunt mode you try to get points by doing stunts inside these blue colored rings, on free roam you get to roam the levels without racing any body, and on championship mode you race other computer controlled simulants across 8 different cources. You can pick up turbo power ups to boast your speed and help pass up racers far ahead of you. There are these arrows pointing on witch side you have to pass that helps make this game hard for some people. Even though I like this game I advise you rent it first and then buy it if you like it.
It could've been so much better than it is

Wave Race originally started out on the Game Boy. Years later it moved to the N64, and now to the Game Cube. With the move to the Game Cube the graphics improved drastically. With very realistic graphics and physics, the wave racing action is almost impossible to beat. Unfortunately there's a major problem in the design of this game. There's 8 drivers, which is a good amount, but only 8 courses. Though you can manipulate the weather effects, (which in effect changes the course drastically) it's still the same course. The lack of courses really hurts this game. The game though does feature great graphics, smooth play control, and a really rocking soundtrack. Wave Race: Blue Storm is a fairly good game, it just lacks what it needs to be a great game.

This game is the reason I just bought a gamecube. I loved WaveRace 64, and this is waverace to the next level.
Gone is the cheesy new age music from the original nintendo 64 game. Now, a rockin' soundtrack takes it's place. The courses are derivative from the originals, but only in look and feel. They are all new. The graphics are beautiful. This is one game that shows off the gamecube's graphics engine!
But, how does it play you ask? Beautifully! The controls are tight, the water physics are amazing, and the sounds are dead on.
If you liked wave race on the nintendo 64, or if you just like racing games in general, this is a must have. In fact, if you own a gamecube, get this game! There is no game on ANY system that does water as well as this one.
Really good

This is a game that you just gotta buy! Personally, I hate racing games, but I could go for hours on this game. The graphics are beautiful, the soundtrack is rockin', and the players are cool. I have a sister and she, my dad and I go head to head all the time. It's a great way to bond, and now my dad isn't as opposed to gamecube. It's so fun, and a person with a wave runner will really enjoy this game. It's sooo realistic! Keep up the good work, Nintendo!
ONE OF THE BEST ON GAMECUBE

This game is probally the 2nd best jet ski series out. It has beautiful graphics, challenging gameplay, and lots of cool tricks. Racing is very fun and freeride is where it's at. I know freeride? Yes, I love games with freeride. It gives you a chance to explore and be free. That is why i love freeride.
The games have been coming since Wave Races first appearance on the original game boy, then to nintendo 64, and now with the gamecube. I love this game, but the is a better jet ski series out.
It is called SPLASHDOWN. It is for the PS2. SPLASHDOWN RIDES GONE WILD IS THE BEST JET SKI GAME TO DATE.
Buy wave race and if you have a PS2 get Splashdown and SPLASHDOWN RIDES GONE WILD. If you are awed by wave race you haed will explode with splashdown.
Still Wave Race Blue Storm is a must have if or if not Gamecube is your only system.
get this game!!
