Freaky Flyers is obviously a cartoon flyer. You'll shoot, bomb, role and dive your way through the tracks, and if you desire, complete missions as you race. I found it very hard to focus on all the missions during a race and still win. However, mission-based racing is a very challenging concept.
The tracks are brilliant and I love the imagination put into them(how do people think of this stuff?).
There is NO slow-down. The game runs at a very solid 60 frames per second. A must for me, because I HATE SLOW-DOWN! Two thumbs up to the developers for their hard work on this game.
I wish there was a first-person view, but the third-person view is just fine for this type of game.
IN FINAL, a serious flight sim this is not(the cover should tell you that), but if you like goofy-style racing action I recommend FREAKY FLYERS. XBOX RULES!

Good game! This is one for the whole family!

I saw this game at Blockbuster in the used section of games and for under $6 bucks decided I would give it a try (the game cost less to buy than to rent!) I was shockingly surprised at what a fun game this was! My whole family enjoyed this game. The game play is easy enough for kids to play it, but not to easy for adults to play.
There is tons of great things this game has to offer. There is a race mode where you can race and shoot targets with your air plane- the cartoon players are so funny as well! One guy is actually bigger than the plane is! He reminds me of the cartoon character Johnny Bravo. There is an adventure mode where you have to save your fort and shoot other forts down, this part of the game is so funny! My little boy and I watched as my husband played the game and we laughed for 30 mins. about the game. The little guys trying to destroy your fort look like little speedy gonzola from Looney Tunes and the music in the background while playing the game in the adventure mode is so funny! Its a great game!
Fun for the whole family!

(((WHATS UP)))
Very cool if you like stuff like "trippy HAPPY color levels" like in Crash, Sly Cooper, or Even Spyro. Or if you love Kart Racing Games like Crash Team Racing...Magical Racing Tour... stuff like that or if you thought Mad Dash was cool you should like this game. It's actually very cartoony and twisted "hince freaky" and it's not to easy also. Cool levels and the graphics are PRETTY..very well done. Im sad that it's not being reviewed fairly cuz I think MIDWAY worked hard for this game and it shows...VERY FUN. XBOX only characters too and a cool "mascot type" alien guy who of caorse is XBOX green. SO COOL .I found this game very cool RENT it Or Buy It.

Alright, so it's not super high-tech and full of graphic complexities - it's a fun game. It's one of the few games that my five year old can play well enough for it to be fun and I am entertained by.

The characters are well-defined and amusing. It's a lot like Mario Kart in the air. Mario Kart is another game my son and I enjoy together, so if you like that, you'll like this.

Good game for the price. Family fun.
