Good game to play with kids. Some puzzles seemed to be fillers, like the stone wall to climb or the gate made of sticks. Very welcome to locate the game in the Paleolitic, but I missed more landscapes, animals and people. Would buy a second part only if longer and a little more dense.
Really fun game!

I just finished playing this very enjoyable game. Navigation was very easy and there wasn't a lot of that tedious walking back and forth between places looking for stuff that so many games have (I think just to make the games longer). The graphics were top-notch, with a 360 degree rotation. Beautiful scenery. The music was very good. Voice acting was good. There wasn't a lot of dialogue to wade through and I liked that. I also really enjoyed the puzzles. I thought they were a bit different from many other games I've played. They were challenging but not impossible to do without a walkthrough.
My only complaint was the ending, which I thought was too abrupt. It also could have been a bit longer. I'll definitely buy the sequel if they make one. I highly recommend this game.

Kudos for the developer dedicating themselves to putting the player into the role of a prehistoric cave painter, and keeping it realisitc and entertaining at the same time..Obviously this game does play the myst school of gaming style, providing the usual item huntin, puzzle clicken blues, but whereas most games of this type seem generic in their mechanics, this game uses the same old mechanics in a different setting giving players a pretty unique experience...
The story is the best "get you hooked" story

I liked this game but the fact that i kept crashing at an same spot
annoys me , but this game is unspeakalby straange. Never have i seen a game like this. It must be a first for Caveman so i say Bravo!! The story got me hooked and the puzzles were not that challenging like Myst or Raven. You do so much stuff like fish, make tea, hunt, and have puzzles to solve. This is a short game but like i said, a first for caveman so Bravo!

I'm not sure this game truly rates four stars, but I rated it this way due to the new, interesting stone age environment. I needed to use the walkthrough many times otherwise a person could wander around forever and never figure out what was needed. Typical of Adventure Company games the graphics are OK, but nothing spectacular. Also, the dialogue never really matches the mouth movements of the people you talk with.
Also of interest is the historical facts that are provided which seem to be factual for the timeframe of the game and are a good source of information. Game play is rather short - maybe 4-5 hours. I found myself leaving the game several times just to make it last a little longer. I would recommend this game to anyone that wants a pleasant, interesting diversion.

Echo was a fun game with some very inventive puzzles which I really enjoyed. The only real problem that I had with this game was that it was wayyyyyyyyy to short! Enjoy!

One very important aspect of this game that I missed was feeling the part. The pointer system is not my style. After playing Siberia 1 an 2 I felt I was that character, seeing the character as I moved it. If anyone can let me know of any games similar to siberia plese email me. Thanks!

The graphics were so dissappointing when I opened it, I closed it again and almost didn't play it. The puzzles were simple enough for even an inexperienced gamer, so I liked that part but totally lacked complexity and was more appropriate for a 9-year-old thatn an adult.
Just Another Puzzle Game

You enter a pitch black cave. With the aid of your atomic-level, laser-guided pixel hunter, you find (hopefully) what you need to start a fire. Then, you solve a puzzle. Then, you solve a ludicrous puzzle. Then, you leave the cave. Then, you enter a pitch black cave.... Sorry about that. I could find no way to write a review without writing a detailed walkthrough of the game.
Since there is really no plot, interesting characters or dialogue, and the graphics are only average, there is really no reason to leave the first cave. This game would make just as much sense if you stayed in the first cave and solved all the puzzles there. "Echo: Secrets of the Lost Cavern" is just another dumb puzzle game.

This game caused all kinds of havoc with my PC. Norton was constantly giving me low risk messages, and my PC ran Windows check disk on reboot. Never saw that before! I also had problems printing before I uninstalled this game.
