Best fighter on the N64.

Let's face it the N64 has crappy fighting games but this is the best. The N64 version of MK4 is indeed a lot like the arcade and any MK fan will like it.The only problem with the game is there isn't anything new here. All the new characters have moves earlier fighters had in previous games. Also the old characters have the same moves and nothing new.The only thing new and different is that it is in 3D and they have weapons.

Mortal Kombat has been around me most of my life and I am only 11. My parents won't buy MK4 because it is to bloody and has gore. And I admit that. I don't like this game to much ever since I played it on Playstation a t my friends house. Some parts I don't want to watch, even fatality. Please be aware that this game is not for children like me. PS.This game has no option to turn off the very worse parts! Please think before you buy it.

The greatest fighting game ever!

There are tons of fighting games out there. A lot of them areblatant ripoffs of Mortal Kombat, others are futile attempts at beingdifferent. With newer game systems, these kinds of games have gone for the 3D look, and Mortal Kombat followed suit. Mortal Kombat 4 simply proves that no one can do better than the MK crew, 2D, or 3D. If you have to buy a fighting game, buy this one and burn the rest.

VICTORY ONCE AGAIN

The Mortal Kombat storyline unfolds in 3D. The evil warlord Shao Kahn has been destroyed but the evil god Shinnok wants Raiden's fighters out of the picture. Awesome graphics and sweet fatalities make this game a treat.

Wow! This game rocks!

Super fast and full of surprises, the Mortal Kombat series leaps to 3D and loses nothing. This game is the best of the series. A must have for any fighting enthusiast. But children beware, copious amounts of blood.

I love MK games but this one really made me mad. It was way to bloody! Some Fatalities might offened some people because one of them shows the devil turning a guy into a walking dead maniac! Plus I have betten it but it was way to easy! NO FUN AT ALL!

This game is great! It is one of the best fighting games I've ever played; on N64 or in the arcades. The play control is good, the fighters move quickly and smoothly, and there is no slow down! This game is also really fun. Most of the characters are from the first three Mortal Kombats, like Scorpion and Sub-Zero, along with new characters like Shinok and Quan-Chi. I recommend this game for any fan of fighting games.

Don't they know when to quit?

I have been a fan of the classic Mortal Kombat games ever since I can remember playing the first on super nintendo. But this new game is not for the real MK fan. It abandons all of what made it so enjoyable in the first place, gives the player a few new characters and takes on a boring KILLER INSTINCT style. Big Deal. This series can not just keep going on and on doing the same old thing, so why don't they quit? A huge disappointment,

the best fighting game i have played in a very long time

Super Smash Bros. was awesome. War Gods was too. But this game is better than both combined. Everything is awesome. I don't know about you, but I think the blood is cool and makes it look much more realistic. And you can turn the blood off. The classics are returning, like Scorpion(My personal favorite),Johnny Cage(unfortunately) and as always, Liu Kang. The graphics are awesome and experience very little slowdown. The music is cool and It has a practice mode for beginners. (Not that I need it)If you feel it is too easy you can always make it harder or do endurance mode. Buy it and Sell anything else!
