Fox College Hoops

The gameplay is very good. Fast paced B-ball will keep you on your toes. Although the graphics are a bit chunky, and dunks don't realy look that cool. So it's your choice if you want to play it.

fox college hoops is FUN!

Game play is very slow.Graphics arent very good either. The best thing about this game is the crowds. If you want a good basketball game get NBA Live 2000.

The game play is a little brisk but you can score in places behind the 3-point line. Great! You have 3 levels of play freshman, senior, and all american. So if you have an N64 and you love college hoops this is a MUST for you!

It is like a poopey in your trousers

The graphics could be 10x better. If you want a college basketball game, might I suggest March Madness 2001 or 2002.
I pity any poor sap who owns this bad game. Ya gotta hate it. (...)

This game is too old. In a sport where a player has 3-4 years in his carrer this game is of a time long gone. With few players left, it is the epitome of an old overdone game. Where's 2000.

It could be better, much better.

This game is awful. when I bought this game I expected something fun to play. I knew the graphics weren't going to be great( which they aren't) but that didn't bother me. When I first turned it on I put it on all american mode just to see how hard the game can be. I chose my favorite team UCLA and played the defending champions back then, Kentucky. I started the game by sinking eight out of nine threee pointers and at halftime the score was like 52-26. This is on all american mode. I ended up winning the game by 31 points. I tried being Boston U. and still beat all the power houses in all american mode by at least 20. Also, when you get through the season undefeated, you end up playing Duke in the first round of the tournament. You always play an awful team in the sweet sixteen like Delaware or Howard. Even worse, you get no stats in season play, only how many points your player is scoring per game. No records for other teams, just how you are doing. They also don't even show you a bracket during the tournament. The gameplay is also bad. Like I said you can shoot three pointers with anyone, 7 foot centers can do crossovers on guards, and only the home team gets the rebound. That doesn't matter though, because you'll still make 70% of your shots. So take my advice, don't get this game.

This game is pretty good but is not up to it's potential

I am a college basketball fan and I've was so excited when they released a college basketball game. This game has both pros and cons. First the good, you can choose from many teams and take them through a season. The season starts off with a small pre season tourny. Then you go to the regular season. Then it's the conference tournament and if we win enough games the Big dance. I realy liked the addition of conference tournaments and also i realy like when tournament games are played on neutral courts. Now the Bad, you can't view standings, scheduals or tournament brackets. The only record you will know is your own. You don't see a schedual of the season. My biggest gripe is that no brackets in the tournament. Also a weak non-conference schedual. It does have a little introduction before you start a game about your opponents strenghts, best players and what not. EA sports should make some of thier college titles for the 64.

Surprisingly, not enough teams

As you can see, I live in Buffalo. When I bought this game, it said 120 teams. I was like, "Sweet!, It's gonna have all my hometown teams to take to the final four against colleges like Duke, Standford, Michigan, and Cincinati!" It ends up that the game has no teams within a 100 mile radius of where I live, and theres 3 Division I teams within a 15 minute drive of me.(University of Buffalo, Canisius, and Niagara. None of which are in the game.) First off, Canisius was in the tournament a year or two ago, Buffalo hosted the regionals this year, and Niagara had a player in contension for the scoring title last season when he was averaging over 30 points a game. If I knew my teams weren't in it, I wouldn't have bought this game.
