Fun for young and "old"ΓΏ

I'm 32 yrs. and bought the game 3 days ago. It's almost more exciting than Zelda. Hardest part is the swimming, this is absolutely nothing like Mario64. Great graphics and certainly a good story to it. Absolutely no regrets in buying this game.

this is the best n64 game ever made next to the wonderful ocarina of time.i beat everything in it when i was 9-i collected all the jinjos, got all the puzzle pieces, etc.i bought it when i was 8.it's an amazing, fun game.i just feel tormented that i had to use the players guide to beat the 2nd,banjo-tooie.i try not to think about it.but this game is extremly hard and grueling-but in a good way.the levels are extremly detailed and fun.my favorite is the graveyard/haunted house level.(i forgot it's name.)buy it.i command you.

Thoughts on Banjo-Kazooie

Banjo-Kazooie is a great game for the N64 by Nintendo and Rare, possibly the best game of all(Next to the sequal, Banjo-Tooie). Banjo-Kazooie is good for the Adventure/Puzzle lovers. The only thing that get's disturbing though, is that you cannot leave with musical notes. (-1 Star)
Kids and Adults alike will LOVE this game, the game itself startsout slow with the opening cutscene, but as soon as you controll Banjo, the game's excitment starts. Banjo and Kazooie's adventures into Gruntilda's Castle and Worlds make you never want to end the game. The game's Climatic end battle include children comedy with Gruntilda's rymes, and her comedic broom. Look out for Gruntilda's sister, BRENTILDA, she'll give you hints for before the final battle. This concludes my review.

You can only play it once...

Not much to say... Great story line, original characters, tough challenges, cool worlds and graphics. Took me 36 hours to complete it. And that's about it.

This is the best Nintendo game ever invented! I got this for the holidays in 1998. It is now May 2000 and I'm still not finished. Don't take me wrong, this is a good thing. It means that you get even more than your money's worth. I wouldn't suggest getting guide books for it because it takes half the fun away. Here is what the game is about: You are a bear named Banjo and your sister Tootie was captured by an evil wtch named Gruntilda. Banjo has a bird companion named Kazooie that always sits in his backpack and helps him do tricks. This game contains violance but sure not enough violance to hold it against the game. The violance is very cartoonish. Banjo and Kazzoie go through 8 scenery filled, great animation worlds and then you try to get Tooty back. However once you get Tootie you still have to get the witch in the final battle. If you love this game you might want to check out the sequal Banjo-Tooie. I highly reccomend this game to anyone who wants to have a good time.

Banjo-Kazooie or Super Mario 64?

Many people believe that this is a copy of Super Mario 64. I have played Super Mario 64 DS, and I must say that for the most part they are correct. The only thing different from this game is the puzzle-finding element to the game. If you are into strategy and action games the two games you should have in mind are Super Mario 64 and Banjo Kazooie. But, suppose you could only take one. Which would you purchase? Both are almost the same. If you like games where you have to think and games that are tedious, both are for you. Overall, since Banjo-Kazooie makes you think quite a bit more and has the extra puzzle-finding feature to it, I would suggest you pick up Banjo-Kazooie first and then either get Banjo-Tooie if you truly enjoyed the first game, or get Super Mario 64 if you want to play a slightly different video game. Also, Banjo-Kazooie is A LOT easier than Super Mario 64. So when you go to the store to pick which of the two games to buy, remember that unless you have a lot of free time on you hands, you probably shouldn't buy Super Mario 64.

Banjo-kazooie is one of the best games on the n64 to date!

This game was great! At first I thought it wouldn't be as fun because it has a kiddie theme, but I found Banjo-Kazooie to be moderately challenging. It is very addicting and the over-world and nine levels were incredibly large in size and the graphics and control make the game very exciting to play. All in all, I found this game to be more fun than Mario 64. It was larger and the graphics were better using better textures instead of flat polygons. I recommend this game to anyone who enjoys adventure and platform games, Rare did an amazing job with this one!

This game is a fun RPG and a cool Action/Adventure. The reason it doesn't get five stars is because sometime the gameplay can get slow. If you like Mario 64, by all means get this, it's practically the same thing, only tougher, with a cooler plot, cooler characters, and cooler items 'n' moves. So if you like RPGs and Adventures, get this, baby, yeah.

Great game

The game is great. The graphics are good, the game runs smoothly, and most of all it's entertaining and fun. The only thing that keeps it from getting a five star from me is that once you leave the area where you do the actual play, all your progress in that place disapears and so you have to do it all again!

Plenty of fun

Banjo Kazooie is really a fun game. with 9 challenging levels and cool moves and items to explore. The object is to retrieve jiggies, (jigsaw pieces) to get into new worlds. It may prove to have a difficult finish, or a jiggy here and there that you feel is impossible to get, but, while the game is not TOO easy, and remains a challenge it is not a game that will drive you nuts because you can't finish it, or get very far. All in all, you should have a fun time with it.
