A great game for anyone that loved Mario 64

When I first saw this colorful little game at my friends houseand gave it a try I was shocked. THe game was so cool but I [wasn'tvery good] at it. Now I was never an expret at video games but I wanted to do a little better than that! SO I went and rented (and later bought) the game and spent the whole summer trying to beat it. I was hooked.

Banjo-Kazooie Is an enertaining game. In a way it retells the story of Snow White in it's own.... creative little way. The evil Witch Gruntilda is jelous of Tooty's (Banjo's Sister) beauty so she kidnaps her and traps her in ther Lair. When Banjo and Kazooie find out about this they race to her lair. THe only problem is finding her involves going through a myraid of different worlds (my favorite being the last one), putting together puzzles, and collecting musical notes. This may be harder than they bargined for...

I'm almost 18, so when my (way) younger brother bought the game, I didn't think I'd like it. Boy, was I wrong! This is the coolest game I've ever seen. When I was younger, I used to play Commander Keen, but this beats it hands down. The plot promotes good family values (Banjo is saving his sister, Tooty, from a witch), and there aren't any gory graphics, like blood or guns. Banjo uses eggs as ammunition, so the violence isn't so bad. It really tests your wits and intelligence in games. If you don't have it already, what are you waiting for? GO OUT AND BUY IT NOW!

Super Fun

People call this a Mario clone, but it's far from it.With tons of moves to learn and huge worlds. It got an award for best graphics. It seems complicated at first, but soon it gets easy. All of the worlds are different. Some snow, sandstorms all make this a good game.People like new ones, but this older game rocks. All the characters have a different personality. So,I highly recommend this game.

There is not much I can say except this is THE BEST GAME FOR N64. Not too easy, not too hard, tons of levels and objectives and the cutest cast of characters (Jinjos rock) If you like adventure games, Banjo-Kazooie is for you!

My favorite game of all time.

Just buy this to say you own it. It may be a Mario rip-off, but it seems to excel past Mario. Yes it is hard enough for old gamers and nice enough for young gamers. The music is happy and bouncy. In a nice way for anyone.
The past is that your sister is kidnapped by a witch who plans on stealing her beauty. You are to team up with a bird and perform many combos to survive.
You must collect puzzle pieces and musical notes to progress in the game. This game is harder than anything. Which will have your kid brother giving you the controller and you an excuse to play.
Control is ok. But I will have to overlook it concerning how systems were back then. Special moves are quite worth the wait in the game and you wonder what is going to happen next.
The ONLY problem is that Banjo seems to be there just for looks. You will use Kazooie everywhere. To swim faster, walk faster, attack, EVERYTHING!
This game is by far the best I've played and wish they will release a new one again (Other than the sequel I've played and own.). Hell, they can release the same two games again for other platforms!

Banjo-Kazooie is over the top

My four children gave me an N64 for my 50th birthday along with a couple of games. Luckily, Banjo-Kazooie was one of them. We have played it within our family for over a year now and each time someone else comes to visit they get hooked! Graphics are great and some of the situations are killers. I can't wait for the sequel in mid-2000!

Just like Mario 64, only better!

Everybody compares this game to Mario 64. I don't have a problem with that, because they are very similar. However, this takes Mario 64 and improves everything about it. The graphics are better, the sound is better, there is a LOT more variety, the worlds are bigger, and it has a more in-depth storyline (although it is pretty childish). If you can put up with all the excessive cuteness, then you'll really like this game.

This is a very good game to play. It has nine levels in it, jigsaw pieces to collect, musical notes, magic and mystery! You also get to learn the moves rather than knowing them automatically, like in Super Mario. You can even get invicible and do secret codes! I hope you really like this game!

What a Great Game!

This game is a great game! It can be enjoyed by the whole family. Unlike other games it is a pretty non-violent game. Who wouldn't love a cute bear and bird? Banjo(the bear) set's of with is buddy Kazooie(the bird) to rescue banjo's cute little sister, Tootie, after she is stolen by the evil witch. Together Banjo and Kazooie go through fantastic worlds to eventually fight the witch in a battle of wits and logic. This game helps teach team work, cordination, navigational skills, logic, and memory. It is a total blast for all ages!
