With all this game has to offer, the monthly price of $10.00 is certainly worth it.
However, you do have the option for the yearly subscription for around 80.00 which is just over $6.50 a month.
I bought the yearly subscription for both my grandsons (different households) and the enjoyment they get out of playing makes the cost way way worth it. My grandsons also received a promotional gift (very nice quality toontown baseball cap) and are receiving monthly newletters that include trading cards.
(They really look forward to their Toontown mail.)
If you only played during the free trail period, you don't really know how much this game has to offer.
The game reaches levels you can't even fathom when first signing up.
Our whole family plays...the kids...their moms...and their nana. My toon is NANA BEAR, if you decide to
play, I hope to see you there.

Toontown is a fun game I just got done with my three day trial then I saw it had a CD rom but it says you haft to pay $10.00 a month. I would buy it if it was like a regular CD rom or if it was less money.

I have subscribed to Toon Town for about 6 months now and both of my children (8 & 4) myself and my husband LOVE it. This place is perfect for kids of all ages (even adults). Well, it will help if they can read a little bit. But it is wonderful! We could not be happier with this fun, educational and safe place for kids to play and interact on-line. Try it! You'll love it too!
Great fun, monthly fee too high!

My daughter took advantage of the free trial and loved the game, but I nixed a membership because of the $10 per month fee - this is way too high! I am not against paying $5 per month, as I do for my older son on another gamesite, but $10, no way. As I have seen in other reviews, it just seems typical of Disney to charge double what everyone else charges. I am sure they miss out on a lot of business because of this.

The program is completely limitless. You can play as horses, mice, bears, or almost anything! You can use your gags which are like Banana Cream Pies and stuff like that to defeat the evil Cogs.

I hate to admit this, but I love the game. I started it (on a 3 day free trial) with my nephew, who also loves it, and I play it even when he is not around. It has helped him learn to read better, as all the "tasks" are written. It encourages team work as the cog buildings and factories are won easier when the toons work together. He is getting a computer for Xmas and he wants me to be his "secret friend". They cannot communicate directly with strangers as a changing code has to be given to someone. Most communication is through a speed chat that has specific phrases that they can use and the only one that I think is a little nasty is "you stink".
