i got this game when the psp first came out and i was amazed by the graphics, sound and gameplay.sure most people wont like it as much as pro evo or fifa and thats fine because those games are realistic and have crisp graphics but world tour is a great game to play on the bus or in the car .world tour is one of the greatist games for unlockibles out on any console you can platy as pele or maradonna in there primes. If your not looking for realistic soccer go out and buy this sucker because its a highly addictive arcade soccer game and really is one of the best psp has to offer in launch titles.

You could do much better....

After having played both soccer games the PSP has to offer, I feel it necessary to be the first negative reviewer on this game.

I can give you the fine points now. The game has an arcadish feel to it which makes it easy to pick up and play. The dificulty ranks from pre-school easy to 5th grader easy. Seriously. Even at the most dificult level of play, you shouldn't have much trouble bettering teams. This is good because you always win and let's face it - you don't play games to lose all the time because that would just get frustrating. No one wants to throw their $200 PSP across the room. As far as smooth gameplay goes, it's a ton and a half smoother than FIFA but a little too fast for realism (which is where the arcade feel comes into play). There are multiple challenges to complete, each earning you points to spend unlocking teams. While the challenges are fun, after a while you get bored with them. Then there is the $40 price tag compaired to FIFA's $50 tag. That's where the good points end.

Graphically the game isn't too bad on the eyes but all the players look generic and the stadiums all basically look the same. The goals must be made of cement because the nets DON'T MOVE when you score a goal. The ball just bounces out like you threw a rubber ball at a brick wall. Sound is repetitive and you'll just end up turning your PSP all the way down to save yourself the joy (sarcasm) of listening to the comentary. Comentary consists of the guy saying the players name, when you score it's either the players name really loud or he says "SCORES THE GOAL" really fast. Thanks for that play by play break down... Music is ehhh at best. Gameplay is arcadish, like I said. There is pass, cross, and shoot. You can speed burst down the line, cross the ball, and score on a header 90% of the time. Your fullbacks shouldn't be able to sprint past every player on the field and score goals. That's not real. At the harder dificulty levels if you can avoid slide tackles, you won the game. Really, it's that simple. Simple, like the gameplay.

If you're looking for a much more realistic game (or just plain better) I'd either buy FIFA or wait for it's price to lower. That game has it's flaws as well but you'd be much better off with EA's game than another Sony failed sports title. There are more modes of play, better features, somewhat better graphics, and much better gameplay.

Pretty Good Game

This was the first game i bought for my PSP, and it is pretty good. The graphics are very good, but then again most PSP games are good graphics becasue of the PSP.

The sound pretty much stinks and the narration is horribal. All the narrator says is who has the ball, nothing else. It is pretty easy to bascily play the whole game and win 90% of the time once you know the controls.

The controls are very basic and there isn't a control for a lot of the things. Which measn it does it when you don't want it to, or it doesen't do it when you want it to.

The golie in the game is pretty werd. Durring a free kick he can't move, and you can't really control where he is.

Overall this game is pretty good but i would recomend that you also try FIFA.

The graphics are great,it has a lot of action, and it has a variety of teams to choose from.
tip:you want to work your way up,start at the bottom and work your way up.Also, the closer you are to the goal, your shot will aim better.

I believe this was the first sporting game released on thee PSP and what a great game it is! The load time, the gameplay, options, graphics and sound are fantastic! Though this game isn't that user friendly(I was stuck on how to start a game after selecting my team!), it really is an excellent sporting one to have in your PSP library!

This game has all the action a true football fanatic will love. Playing controls for the game are pretty simple. As long as you are passing the ball and sprinting at the right moments you can get to the D to score. I loved the game. Graphics are not bad either and the actual play is pretty smooth. Overall, must have for PSP.

This is a great game! Even for how old it is and how cheap you can find it, the game is still so much fun. Would highly recommend it to anyone who likes soccer.
