Tekken: Dark Resurrection........Are you the King of Iron Fist Tournament??....

It's hard to believe that more than a decade has passed since Tekken premiered in the arcades. It's even harder to believe that we have a portable Tekken game on the Playstation Portable that we can play on the go but we do. While I'll admit that my interest wained after Tekken 3(even though I've played them all), my interest and fever for the series is back in full force with this installment.

Except for the Devil Within & Arcade History modes, everything from Tekken 5 made it over to the PSP. Several things were improved upon, like the character customization mode as well as the adding of two new characters. Mini-games like Gold rush, Tekken Bowling and Dojo Mode are extremely cool. Tekken: Dark Resurrection will surely be the game all other PSP fighters will be judged by from now on.

One thing that Tekken: Dark Resurrection proves, most of all, is that great console fighters can be brought to the PSP with no problems. That's really promising for fans of such technical fighters such as Soul Calibur, Virtua Fighter and Dead or Alive. Their dreams of portable versions of these classics could actually come true if developers were inclined to do so. Personally; I'd love to see portable versions of my favorite console fighters myself (like Street Fighter EX, Project Justice, Bloody Roar, Naruto, and Super Dragonball Z).

In conclusion, if you're looking for a tremendous 3-D fighter that can show what the Playstation Portable is capable of graphically and otherwise, look no further than Tekken: Dark Resurrection.

As usual, NAMCO produced greatest fighitng game ever on PSP.
Beautiful graphics and moves are almost same as console machine.
Buy it and you are not gonna regret.

all characters unlocked to start with, tons of unlockable character accesories and costumes, beautiful graphics, extensive league play in the tekken dojos and unlockable mini games. aside from a true online fighting mode, there is nothing this game doesn't have!

The Best fighting game for the PSP

If you're into 3D fighting games, this game will meet your high expectations and exceed them. This game sets a new standard for 3-D fighters on a portable system. I've been dreaming of a portable version of Tekken for a long time now and there have been disappointments in the past. For example, the tekken Gameboy advance title was lacking in many areas... especially since it was not really 3-D but only 2-D sprite driven and simulated 3-D. This game "Tekken Resurrection" however is the real deal and has finally made that dream of mine into a reality. The graphics will astound you and even the background graphics are amazing and are truly 3-D. It's really the first game on the PSP that makes you feel like you're playing a portable PS2 and using the PSP to it's full potiential.

Pros:
Incredible graphics, great gameplay, and all the moves and combos you expect. Many characters to play and playable right away (no unlocking needed). Everything you expect from Tekken and more.

Cons:
End movies (when you beat the game) could be much better.

Conclusion: If you think most Psp games out there are crap, you're right. But this is a Diamond among coals. Buy this game and it may shift your perspective of PSP games and you'll see the true potiental of the PSP and what it can do. Let's hope there are more and more games like this for the PSP in the future.

If you a PSP owning fighter fan, you'll get a 'kick' out of this.

If you are Tekken fan or if you like fighters in general, this will be something you will love. I never played Tekken before and I got this as I was happy with the end result. This game contains many modes like Story Mode, Tekken Dojo, Multiplayer, Arcade Mode, Time Survival, Bowling, Command Attack, Quick Battle, Training, and Sound Room. You can unlock costumes for your characters in the store. This distinguishes itself from most fighters that the PSP has and most fighters in general.

Pros: Over 30 characters to choose from. Plenitiful amounts of game modes and unlockables to keep you busy for a while. Fighting is well thought out.

Cons: Some combos may be hard to land. Charcters lack long range attacks/special techniques.

It is all you are waiting for tekken, the onli con is that does not support WiFi gaming in the net. but still an excelent game

Although i'm not a huge "gamer" this game is extremely addicting. If you just want to kick some booty, this is a great game to do so with.

This is a really good fighting game, similar to the tekkens for PS2. The graphics look clean on the screen, control is good, and it's just plain fun. I would recommend it to anyone that likes fighting games.

wow, it Best Fighting Game( Tekken DR )on the PSP with Good type of graphics .
1-you do get 2 new characters.
2-new move for all characters and change some move
3-the all characters are equal in fighte
4-the bad and worst in tekken 5 are removed

I highly recommend this game. Very fun, and tons of stuff. It won't get old, and I can see myself still playing this in a year or two.
