Street Fighter Anniversary Edition is good to play. To good part is playing Street Fighter 2: The Anniversary Edition and having Street Fighter 2: The Animated Movie on here.
But here's the bad part...Street Fighter 3: 3rd Strike. This games is wack and Gil is too damn hard and boring. The only thing good about that game is Gil's theme.
If you get this, just get it for Street Fighter 2: Anniversay Edition and Street Fighter 2: The Animated Movie. Don't even bother playing Street Fighter 3: 3rd Strike...it sucks.
...just falls short...

I wasn't expecting a graphic overhaul or dazzling gameplay, but there's something about this version (Xbox) that just doesn't carry the same fond memories as the Genesis version did. The controls are just this side of flaky, and doesn't lend to that smooth action the Genesis pad carried. Don't buy this unless you are the most hardest of hard core fans.
Ok let me put it this way

these games are way better than any of the mortal kombats which are pretty overrated, bassicly the best fighter series in my opinion are:
1.soulcalibur 1, another game that should be rereleased on the box
2.the street fighter series[ALL OF THEM!]
3.marvel vs capcom series[great arcade games that still managed to be equally great console games]
4.capcom vs snk[ not as good as marvel, but still does the trick]
5.fight club the game, ok its not out yet, but the movie kicked a** and the effects for this seem great and i hear that there is going to be real-time face deformation, and that just says it all, hopefully itll take the bone breaking idea to its full potential unlike the dissapointing "tao feng", i also sorta put this here to knock mortal kombat outta position, think about it, if mortal kombat hadnt come out, that lieberman pr**k wouldnt have forced the esrb out on us, but then again i geuss that only would have been put off till the days of duke nuke 'em
well anyways, um what was i talking about?
old school fun..

this is a great game, there are like 5 or 6 versions of the original SF2 plus you get SF3 as well.. the graphics are crisp and more importantly the gameplay is smooth.. a good buy for sure if you like fighting games..

It's a good collection to have, it was very smart how they include all the Street Fighter 2 games all in one. I enjoy it a lot brought back some good memory's and best of all Street Fighter 3 Third Strike :) so I'm satisfied.
