I love the Sims, it is a nice break from reality. But this one, I do not like the way you move them. There is a cursor like thing that you move then you push a button to move them to where the cursor is. A real pain. You cannot move the character as you can in some of the other games. Graphics are good, I just wish I was in more direct control of my person.

I bought this for my 8 year old grandson. He really enjoyed it. He loved the fact he could leave the house in a sports car. He already has the original Sims Game but he wanted the Bustin Out because he said they get to go more places away from the house. It was easy for him to play.
Addictive, addictive, addictive

I think this is an awesome game! This was actually the first Sims game I have ever played, and from the moment I turned it on I was hooked. I have to admit, I was a little skeptical about playing a game where all you do is eat, sleep, talk, go to work, etc, but as soon as I started playing I couldn't manage to tear myself away. The graphics are well done, you get to visit many different places, and there are many interesting characters to interact with. I do wish that they had bigger outfit selections, and more options and ways to "detail" or "create" your sim, though. And for some reason, right when I was about to beat the game there was some sort of glitch that wouldn't let me finish it, but other than those two things I had a lot of fun playing, and have played it more than once. Great fun!
Awesome!

This game is great! There are so many options to customize your home and items to buy for it. I love being able to add swimming pools, hot tubs, and game tables. I also like the fact that you can create a whole family including children sims unlike Sims 2 where you cannot create children sims therefore no complete family. It's so cool though to create and build your own home and furnish it like your fantasy home. My wife loves to design homes so she created one and as best as possible created herself and me in the game as sim characters as well as created a little girl of which we one day hope to have for real. It's just plain ol good fun. And very addicting. It's so very easy to lose track of time while playing. I highly recommend this title.
Watching and playing, this is fun!

The first time I ever saw the Sims I thought it would be interesting, it is, but it is also cool! You get to design and name your own Sim and do make sure they do what they need to do. These jobs include going to the bathroom, eating, having fun, taking a bath, or just to sleep. You have to find a job and have to make a profit. This game is 1-2 player so you can have a friend over to play it with you.
Here are the GOOD THINGS about the Sims, Bustin' Out:
The theme- What's good about the theme is that you are taking control of a person. What he/she does, looks, and works at.
The people- Once a while you have to live with you mom, sometimes you live with a roommate called Mimi. Wherever you are, you are talking to the person that you live with, or you talk to them on the phone. Another reason why the people are good is because they are just hilarious. They are funny in their own special way.
The BAD THINGS for the Sims: Bustin' Out:
It's not for kids- If you notice at the cover, the game is rated teen, and it really is teen. When they go to the bathroom, they will block it, but still, you can see them going to the bathroom and taking a bath.
The controls- As I have said before, you can control how the person lives. But, sometimes it is very difficult. You have to highlight things just to make that person do it. It might come easy to some people, but it was hard for me.
The Sims: Bustin' Out is worth buying for $20. It is fun for most people and I am glad I bought it.

Really is a great game. Through out the game you build up your skills, unlock items, social skills, and money. There are a variety of houses, and not one of them boring. There is two parts to this game--bust out and freeplay. Under the sim number which you created your account(Sim 1, Sim 2, Sim 3 ect.) you can go into free play a build a house and family and use all the things that you unlocked. You can spend hours taking a default house (in bustin out)tear it down, and build one that suits you. Buy this game! Its very cheap and you will be pleased

First of all I think the fact you can move from house to house makes it alot more fun than The Sims. This game entertains you as well as teaches you a bit of reality, such as getting a job, or keeping the house clean. I think you sould be at least 10 & up to play this game because some sims kiss each other and sometimes, not something you ant to show to a young child. During this game you have to try to keep your motives up, get promoted, make friends, move out, and take over Malcom's mansion all in a days work. I own both The Sims and The Sims Bustin' Out, and The Sims Bustin' Out is much more fun. I highly recommend this game. You get lot's of fun for only a little price!

Great, in depth game, though the goals get repetative and a little strange, i played for hours, more than the 30 mins. required to make a review for most games.
This game is flat out lame..

I have never played a SIMS game before and although I like the idea of being able to 'create' a character and have that character 'live freely' this game fell way short. I spent all my time telling my SIM to go to the bathroom, eat, sleep, and watch TV. Its not even close to real life and is just plain tedious, stupid, and absolutely no fun. To do the things you have to do to move forward because they arent fun you have to spend two days just getting ready and making sure you are green. 8 hours of play and I was still struggling to eat, sleep, watch tv, shower, and socialize. Staying green was damn near impossible to do and still complete your missions. Anyone thinking that this game is great has a mental problem. Perhaps I should go play the game again so I can pick up trash in the kitchen, or for real fun, work out, or even sleep. Then I can take a dump 4 times a day so I dont get upset and spend 2 hours having a dinner.
This game sucks except for those people trying to actually live their lives vicariously through these SIMS. Unfortunately I spend too much time doing ridiculous tasks over and over again to even enjoy my character.
i love the sims
