Don't buy it... you will be playing all day

I have to quit playing because I will not sleep, eat or anything else just for been playing. I enjoyed it very much... you must buy it.

The Sims for Xbox is a very good and addictive game.

Pros:
addictive
More features than PC version
Don't have to wait for game to load
Better animation (tree sways, can see car driving by when
selecting a house to buy in the
neighborhood)
No need for memory card since Xbox has a hard drive.

Cons:
Confusing at first. Then gets much easier.

Play for HOURS

This game is pretty addicting... I will literally play for hours and hours (and I'm not big into video games)! It's so fun to create your different characters and build your dream house... I played on the computer at a relative's house and really got hooked there, so my husband got the game on XBox for me. It's a little different then the computer version but still just as fun!

The Sims was such a fantastic game. It is much better than that of the PC and also takes a shorter amount of time to save and load. Its graphics are just amazing and its like they are actually real people. It is a bit high but hey every video game is when it is just released. It is well worth the money and i can play it for hours at a time. This game is without a doubt one of the best games I have come across or experienced in a long long time!

This game is great one of the best ive played its entertaining and will keep you going for hours i once stayedup for 7 hours playing there are so many items and it never gets old i would highly recommend this game!!!

Boring game... I don't know what fun anyone could get from this game. You have to set up your character with certain characteristics or you can't get him/her to do anything; and then it is difficult to get anything done. The most frustrating part was trying to the the character to do some activity that would get them to advance and they shake their head saing they are not in the mood. You can't ever get started doing anything for having to coninuously go to the bathroom and before you know it you it's time to sleep, and you fall down where ever you are. The characters constant whining is very annoying. I wouldn't buy it.

This was my first experience into the Sims world, and I was extremely disappointed. I bought the game for Xbox knowing it would probably have superior graphics and easier controls, which it did. Those two points were its redeeming qualities. Everything else about the game was horrid. There was absolutely NO entertainment value in controlling a few 'Sims', being responsible for their basic needs (ie. feeding them, washing them, making them use the bathroom, telling them to play or go to work. It was ridiculous. I do not see what can be so addicting about a game with such a limited scope; especially a game that does not allow one to really escape the pressures of everyday life, which in my opinion is what a game should be.

After wasting several hours and completing all but one level of the 'get a life' scenario, I decided that I already have a life and don't need a video game to reiterrate the sometimes embarrasing, sometimes funny parts of my life. Don't waste your time or your money. I got my money back.

Warning: highly addictive...
I bought this game awhile ago...and it's highly addictive..I've had oodles of fun playing this game. While it's not perfect (what game is?) I liked it. The game looks quite simple, but after a few hours of gameplay..you begin to figure out that this is not the case. One has to juggle their personal needs with building up their stats (logic, fitness, etc.), having personal relationships, their jobs and their health.
I having said there are a few issues with the game. This world has you working 7 days a work, 8 hours a day. You do the math. It would be very nice if the game allowed you 2 days off in a row without the risk of losing your job. You are allowed to miss 1 day, but if you miss more than one consecutive day, you get fired and have to start your career all over again. Needess to say, this can be rather difficult..
All in all, this is a fun game...but it's not for everyone...

The game is the best simulation game ever. If you love simulation games this is the game you should get.
