Rent the game first

I had heard a lot of great things about this game and was very tempted to buy it, but I decided to rent it first. I was right, the game isn't that great. The controls are ok, but the graphics are PS2 graphics. Hitman 2 has a good concept, but the gameplay itself is very poor. It's a first player perspective so if you're one to get dizzy playing first shooter games then this game is not for you. If you're looking for a good game you'd be better off with Splinter Cell. After playing Splinter Cell, no other games compare to it.

This game gives you the ability to decide for yourself how you want to complete your mission. If you want to be very stealthy to take out your target, you can, and if you want to blow everyone away in achieving your target, you can in most cases. Nice array of weapons, good gameplay, and graphics are pretty tight. I made the mistake of purchasing Dead to Rights before this game and already traded it in. Highly recommended.

Hitman 2 is one of the best games for Xbox. (not too hard right now) Like everyone said, this game is for the intelligent, and sleath is the name of the game. But the fact remains that you can picl up an AK and balst everyone the the bajesus. When i was playing the Kirov Park mission, my friend had no idea what to do. He'd pull out his ballers, shoot one of the targets, and get killed. When I played, i found an enterence in the sewers, got to a radio tower strangled the only guard there, went up to the radio tower, and killed both of the targets with a single bullet. I fired one shot the whole mission. This is what the game is trying to make you do. Try to find ways elude your enemies. This is not a game for people with short attention spans.

I really like this game. I had read good reviews about it and went and bought it. As a new xbox gamer I am quite impressed. The graphics are great and the gameplay is awesome. I love the way you can change identity and how u really need to think about how to get around the missions without getting killed. There are lots of possibilties for the game and u can play it any way you want. The weapons are awesome! A great game.

the game is your choice of either first or third person views, in several reviews people say they hated that it had a first person view / third-person view. you can choose which view you want and alternate between views during the game. had to clear that up. and ya, you should probably rent it and see if you like it, it isnt for everyone.

When I first got Hitman 2, it was impossible for me to stop playing for more than 12 hours. Sadly, after a few days, the euphoria wore off. It's a great looking game and a lot of fun, but it can get repetitive, particularly if you don't change your style of play (ie you can rush headlong into adversaries like a commando - not that easy on the hardest setting; or you can try to be a 'ninja' and control the wetworks). Great variety of weapons, cool features like changing outfits (although this is certainly not as effective when the enemy is within spitting distance). All in all, a good buy, especially for those that love FPS style games or similar genres.

Smart Stealthy Shooting

Hitman2 has the "think before you shoot" charm, like
Metal Gear Solid, or Splinter Cell. I like how you can complete a mission in several ways, like either stealthly posioning your target, snipe him from a distance, or rush in with an
sub-machine gun and create a massacre until everyone is full of lead(my personal favorite weapon is the SP12 shotgun). The AI is very witty. If you kill someone, steal their clothes, and not hide the body, and if a guard finds it, your disguise is worthless, I reccomend this game to any gory game fan.

The funnest game since grand theft auto 3

Hitman 2 will require pacience puzzle solving and some really hard challenges to beat this game. you will have to beat every thing from mafia to high end rich people sitting in hottubs this game is all about stealth and figuring out the way each apponent in levels thinks and reacts to what you do. each level is almost like a tottally new game because the people you must assasinate all do different things appon what you do in the game. for instance in the mafia level you must kill the dean, while trying to do that if the dean gets too allarmed he will get guys with shotguns to gard him or even kill the hostage you must rescue. to get into the dean you must kill a amilman walk throu gates and kill a grocery man then do some other stealthy things from thair. you can go in guns blazing but i dought youll get farther than killing the dean. escaping you will die. i hope you enjoy this wonderfull game and please rate my review good please bye

The qualities of "Hitman 2"

The good:
-Great arsenal of weapons
-Brutal ways to use those weapons

The bad:
-Sometimes inaccurate with plot and missions

The strange:
-Is there a single rocket launcher?
-Don't it feel like the pistols are a little smaller than his hands?

The awards for:
-Best gun: WS500 sniper rifle(I think that is what they called it)
-Best toy: The wire cable(Is there anything more fun than choking the hell outta those nutcases?. . . . . .Didn't think so)

The overall:
-Just to warn you, this is not a childs game. This is for a great sharpshooter. Master this and you can do anything

Relaxing

The East Coast is just starting to recover from a horrific sniper situation in Maryland, and I go home everynight and play a video game that offers nothing but killing and in many instances sniping. What can I say? I have a stressful job and in some of the levels of Hitman, you are in a snowy solitary area where the optimum method of completing the level is sniping the targets. No time limits, just targets that are a long ways away and you can "take them out" without ramifications. I find this relaxing. sorry. Other levels are just shoot em ups and that's fun too. Since there are alternative methods of completing a mission, one tends to go back to a level and try it a different way. I love this game, but it is probably not for the politically correct.
