Greatsest game EVER

Halo 2. There is not another game that gives you chills down your spine when you say the title. This was the most anticipated game ever in the videogame industrie. This game definatley lived up to its hype, and in my opion it passed that hype. Many people believe that GTA: St. Andraes is a much better game. I say GTA made 115 million dollars in a week......not bad. Halo 2 on the other hand sold 125 million dollars in a day.........amazing. I think the thing that attracts people most to Halo 2 and Halo 1 is not just the great guns, storyline, vechiles, enimes, online play,etc. It is the amazing entertainment of throwing a plasma grenade into a bunch of covenet then continuing to flank the others while your soliders are cleaning up the stragliers. Also there is no other game that can give "chills" down your spine while entering a battle, and there is no other noise like "oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh" The thing I love most about Halo 2 is that it brings all of the fun from Halo 1, but it times it by 10. There are also new features for Halo 2 such as duel wielding, the ability to steal a ghost or any other veichale from your enimes or your friends, heat seaking missiles, just to name a few. After you finish the campian mode (which really is amazing, but i dont want to say anything because it might spoil the game) there is a bunch of other things to do. Such as, the online play, it really is amazing, the fun of you and your buddies getting in warthogs, ghosts, and banshees and atacking your friends base then when you finally get there flag the challenge of running away while rockets and bullets are zooming by your head is pricless. Even if you dont have Xbox live you can play split screen with up to 4 players. Now while this is not as entertaing as Xbox live it still does have its advantages. They are, being able to see the person you are playing and knowing them personally, the ablillty to braging rights around the people you see everyday, but my personal favorite is the victory dance you can do when you end your friends killing spree with a rocket demolishing the wartghog hes been in for 3 hours. So, in conclusion me and the other 100 million people would probally agree that this is the greatest game to ever be made. There once was a line in the Offical Xbox Magazine that stated that Rockstar had said that Halo 2 will "never come" and "if the game does come out it will be the greatest game to ever be seen, but of course no such thing can be done" they also were stated saying that "Even if Halo 2 does come out Bungie could never put all of the things they say will be in the game by November 9" In Halo 2's comerical they show everything in the game and then at the end of the comerical they say "To all those that said this day would never come what are they to say now"

The gamplay is great it has new weapons new vehicles and you can hold to weapons at a time. It has great music the story is good.

But the game is way to short i won it in just 2 days!!!!!!!
everything about the game is great execpt its to short
I recomend it completly
although i hope the make the sequel longer
its a great game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bungie creates another masterpiece

After three years of edge-of-my-seat waiting, I bought my copy of Halo 2 upon release. Before I first played it, I expected something similar to the originality of the first Halo; boy was I pleased to learn of a pleasant surprise...

I first played the campaign mode cooperatively and adjusted to the small but noteworthy changes in the gameplay (double-wielding of guns, not getting hurt by falling from extreme heights, covenant vehicle boosts, and a plethora of new weapons). The campaign is ho-hum from a story perspective but I found the action incredible. Nothing surpasses the feeling of uppercutting a covenant elite with the energy-sword in a lunging attack of instant-death.

At this point Halo 2 came accross as an 80%, a worthy successor to the original. Enter Xbox Live; soon after I had logged hundreds of games and countless hours capturing flags, barking out orders through the voice commander, and watching the magic of the Live stats/rating system do its work. The experience never left much to be desired... the first (and only) sense of boredom one may start to feel is the repetetition of maps over time. Bungie promises to release new maps as downloadable content in the near future.

Overall, I found myself very much impressed. Anyone who appreciates multiplayer first-person-shooters and has access to broadband MUST purchase this game if they haevn't already. I leave the last star to Bungie on whether or not they follow through with the extra content, but if they do they will certainly reap the benefit of hundreds of satisfied gamers. ENJOY

Halo 2 is a great game, there is really no other way to put. However after you beat the rather short campaign I would suggest getting Xbox Live or getting a lot of friends to play with. If you have or have played Halo than you should be getting this game ASAP. If you're skeptical because even though you like shooters you think alien shooters are bad, believe me this is no average alien killing game. So go get Halo 2!

This game has been awaited for so long, and it was a great game, yet the first 4 or 5 levels are boring. A fun game.

Well i dont have the game but my friend does and while i was playing multy player i noticed the vision. you really couldnt see that good, but the good side of the game was that the weapon feature where you can hold two weapons was awsome. OK OK I ADMIT IT ive never played halo 1 and me playing halo 2 was my first, but i got in the groove right away the controlls were easy the guns were cool the vehiciles were awsome! A moms out there get this game for your children even if they have never played the origanal halo because it is awsome

Il admit it, im not a big Halo fan. Frankly I tohught the first was way over rated. However I bought the second one just to see how it was. Ive never gone in depth with the story line so I basically just ran through levels and beat them skipping the cut scenes. I went back later though and watched them all and pieced the story together. Its a good story, a very good plot for the game. The multiplayer is better than the 1st, especially with 16 people. Only snipers ruin the fun. And the tanks seem a bit unfair, once I or anyone else got in one, your unstoppable and can get massive kills. I thought the graphics were just average, escept the cutscenes. Thew sounds were average. Still to me its just another first person shooter. I still dont give it all the glory everyone else does. But for what it is, i'll still give it 4 stars!

woa metal gaear solid 3 snake eater is probably the best game.......EVER!!!!!!! man when i played i was thinking hmmm much better than sons of liberty. GREAT GAME!!!!!

this game is so fun....want to know whats funner than halo 2??? Ice Cream! I love ice cream (and halo 2)! ice cream has more flavors than halo 2. halo 2 only comes in limited and normal flavors! Ice cream comes in chocolate, vanila, strawberry, and a whole bunch of more cool yummy flavors. I would recomeend ice cream and halo 2 too anybody. if u r a retard like me and u like halo 2, you will get halo 2 and learn the importance of BUTTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I SCREAM FOR ICE CREAM!!!

I got halo 2 the day it came out and it was amazing! despite some flaws it surpasses halo 1 easily. One thing i can't understand is why some other reviewers hate the arbiter so much. I actully like playing as him better than i like to play as master cheif because of the arbiters active camofladge. it made some extremely hard parts of the game easier to just turn invisible and attack my enimes from behind. I also disagree about dual-weilding. when i dual-weild, i forget i even have grenades because 2 guns are so much more effictive. my favorite dual-weilds are 2 needlers or 2 brute plasma rifles. Heres some improvements they should make for halo 3: 1. play as any enemy in multiplayer including flood and sentilels. 2. The abiity to catch a ride on the roof of a banshee. 3. More heavy weapons such as a portable wraith morter and the new hunter beam gun. Don't listen to the people who rated this one star, there all liars. buy this awsome game, you won't regret it!
