You indeed can play the campaign mode with a buddy over x-box live.
When the title screen first comes up you must enter the following code.

up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, a, b, a, b, start.
Then you can play multiplayer and you get 30 lives!!

This has to be the best console game ever..PERIOD.

Not only is the AI maginificent, graphics, music are PERFECT!!

This game has it all, BUNGIE has done a job no other developer can pull off, a true masterpiece in the making.

I cannot wait for the XBOX2, as HALO3 will be the best experience ever to hit this planet, after HALO2 and HALO!

1. Graphics: too dark in places + the light on weapons doesn't stay on. Also, what happened to the night sight availability on the sniper rifle?

2. Sound track: the incessant babble of covenant forces gets quite annoying (why would alien species be speaking in American/English colloquialism???.) Tacky!@

3. Replay value - minimal at best (unlike H1). There really are no scenes interesting enough to make you want to play the game again.

4. Where is the excitement of discovering something as spooky as the Flood? Yes, there were new life forms but they only seemed to be token gestures...We're sure a little bit of creative thinking would have come up with a few more "undesirables" more distinct from the other alien species (re: distinction between Covenant and the Flood in H1).

5. Game length and ending - surprisingly short and unchallenging...where was the guaranteed hand cramps with the likes of the ending in H1 (Pillar of Autumn with the mad dash in the Warthog...THAT was challenging!). H2 - what was with the ending? PANTS!!!

Just to conclude - H1 was a masterpiece of console gaming. H2 was a very very pallid shadow of its older brother.

Bungie - you've let yourself down badly with this one - you are capable of a lot better than this. It's going to take a lot of convincing to buy Halo 3, but thank you for persuading us not to be so impulsive in our purchases next time (if indeed there IS a next time).

Is Halo 2 a good game with great multiplayer. Yes. Is is worth getting a coronary over? No. No real reason to write a detailed review. Everyone already knows everything about this much over-hyped game. Why did nobody get this excited over San Andreas, when the latter is obviously a better game due to its gigantic world and monsterload of stuff to do?

for all of you who even gave it 4 stars are complete dumbasses. get your head outa the guttter, seriously though, this game owns. ive played it for 3 years, and it is still my favorite. play it everyday. addicted? YES! the LAN parties are esspecially awesome.....and 5 hours straight is not long enough.

boring..though the first few lvls were good..the online multyplayer is fun but this review aint bout xbox live. I really liked the look of the demo from halo 1 where there in the city and there shooting vehicles and stuff what happened to that. AND WHAT TOOK SO LLLLOOOOONNNNNNGGGG to make. thew graphics rnt even that great. any rpg would best this halo. the other halo was soooo much better. and when is halo 3 coming out, in 20 yeas i bet. my advice only get this game for multyplayer

let me just say that xbox suck(check my other review on the xbx console) halo 2 is a ripoff of the first, i must agree with mark saying that the old halo and the new halo 2, that halo 2 i wouldn't play over again, and halo 1 i totally would. but that just my opinion. first off who keep a darn about playing a conventent elite?

okay i hate this game, so im not going to review it as long as my other review

here are the pros and con of this game:
pro: graphic
con: game suck
too short
same old vehicle
i don't have online
xbx live is expensive
with the lamest ending ever

i hopes this help, sure i know i can do better reviewing but the fact is it suck and why would i want to review a game that suck.

so far the only 2 good games on xbox is espn nfl 2k5 and ghost recon 2, and maybe jade empire when it come out

but the fact is xbox doesn't have alot of exculsive title like the ps2 and gc

O, btw my aim s/n is eckoballers2, plz aim me, i love talking about all game related stuff

i am a very big gamer and always will be, i want to be a game designer when i grow up, i just love game, o and definity girl two, but i am talking about games!
