The Darkness could be better

The Darkness is a game that is engaging yet at times restricted. The programmers could have made the game more open ended. IF your expecting a openended game like GTA than your in for a surprise, the game is good but many times in the game I feel that theres not enough. THeres not enough civilians walking about doing their business. Almost all the charactersin the subway are the same, I dont recall anyone ever coming to a subway just to be there. This game is a good game but its for one time play only.

This game has re named the first person shooter category , the story line is excellent, the graphics are one of the best i have seen . Just details in the game make this a great buy, i mean what game do you know that u can shoot out a light bulb, i mean i dont know many...

The Darkness is a wild ride from beginning to end, a game that tells a story of a young mafia hitman that gains a special demonic power on his 21st birthday. As the game progresses, you learn how to wield this awesome power and get revenge on your Uncle Paulie for deeds I shall not name in this review for I do not want to spoil the game for you. But what he does to you is something you cannot forgive him for, and Uncle or not you want his blood. The Darkness is one of the most dramatic games you could play on a game console, especially for FPS standards. The PS3 version which I played looks wonderful and has a rock solid frame rate throughout the entire game. It does not however take advantage of the standard Hard-Drive nor the motion sensing SIXAXIS controller, probably due to it being designed around the weaker specifications of Microsoft's Xbox console.
The game is NOT for the faint of heart, you will see many point-blank gunshots to your enemies heads, as well as ripping their hearts out. Enjoy!

I Got This Game At Walmart Today And I Have To Say It Was Way Worth Sixty Five Dollars. I Mean I Won't Spoil It For Anybody Else. Buy It If Your A Game Lover. Trust Me I Know Good Games And This One Is The Game of The Summer. Forget All The Other Games On The Store Shelves, If Your Gonna Buy One, BUY THIS ONE!!! The Reason It Is So Good, Is Because of All The Elements It Has In It. It Has The Feel of A Full Fledged Hollywood Movie. There Are Things In This Game No Other Game Franchise Seems To Have Thought of. Until Now I Guess, LOL. I Am A Big Fan of Grand Theft Auto Games. The Next One Is Going To Have To Soar Above This One. I Have Never Had To Hope For Something Like That. Since This Game Made It Into The Disc Reader of My Playstation 3 I Am Keeping My Fingers Crossed.

This Game is a pretty good game some of the best graphics I have ever seen! this game is a Warm up for the on slaught of PS3 games coming soon I gurantee you wont be dissapointed if you get this game it's well worth it.

A great game fun to play and graphics are awsome with HDMI, only down fall is I wish you could run, not just walk all the time.

The game is fun and all but it gets to be pretty redundant a times. Lots of action and gunfights, but a horrible ending and and ok storyline.

This is one of the best games I've ever played. If you like games that are not too hard but to easy this is the game for you. It's pretty easy to figure out. There's a lot of guns and blood. It's a game for adults. I just bought this game for about two weeks and I've played it everyday so far.

este juego tiene muy buenas imagenes!! los graficos son exelentes!! la trama es un poco incompresible!! tambien es un juego complicado!! aunque aveces llega a ser monotono y calm con la avilidad de las culebras llamadas darkness!! no existe necesidad de disparar o correr!!... overall no a un mal juego!!! es bueno solo que un poco complicado!!
si me dicen si lo recomiendo!! jajaj preferible otro juego!! resistance es lo maximo!

This is the first game outside of the Mario universe that I actually played all the way through. I tend to get bored with games and give up on them, but this one was rather addictive. The darkness as a character was very clever and the gameplay was better than I expected. The only gripe I have is that the ending, compared to the rest of the game, was a bit on the weak side. Other than that, I highly recommend this, if for nothing else but watching To Kill A Mockingbird in game.
