Not a bad video game at all. I mean, the only thing I nit-pick about is the fighting, like you can't actually use the whip to attack an enemy. But, the fighting doesn't completely suck. The graphics are... wow. And the script is taken right from the movie! It is an awesome movie-adapted video game. It's like "Tomb Raider" meets "Prince of Persia" and shops at "Trashy Lingerie". I mean, the character mold is so hot, it looks just like the gorgeous temptress it's based upon. Here is a break down:
**Controls: Easy as pie (although, making pie is no easy task). However, the game is pretty easy to pick up and play and love.
**Graphics: WHHHHHHHHHHHHHHOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAA! The graphics here are... whoa. You might as well still be controlling the movie. This is where the game has the review in a choke hold.
**Sound: Halle Berry delivers her voice her, and her trying to be sexual makes her sound... cute and innocent. Which, in turn, is just as fine because it is Halle Berry, an incredible, multi-faceted actress. The way the whip cracks is really crisp, too.
**Overall: 10/5. This game is simple and straightforward, and is really enjoyable. If you like the movie, you will have no problem enjoying this. I love this game, and if you love adventure games, so will you. I compare it to the fun mechanics of "Super Mario 64".
ok for a movie based game

How this game has managed to get even one good review is beyond me. Talk about repetitive and pointless. While the graphics are quite good, they certainly do NOT make up for this game's shortcomings. Yet another disappointment in a long line of comic book characters turned video game heroes. If you enjoy jumping all over the place and kicking the same villians into dumpsters, you would probably enjoy this game. Otherwise, don't bother. This game is pointless and not even worth the rental price.
Easy but fun

My personal best for beating a game. I beat Spider-man 2 in 14 days, I beat Van Helsing in 12, this one only took me a week. The game is simple enough to understand. The controls for your basic moves are a little strange, but nothing extremely difficult, basically you just cartwheel yourself around, and use your wip. The hardest part of the game, are the areas where you're constntly getting shot at while your moving around, but those are only 3 out of 11 segments. As for beating the bad guys up, surprisingly enough there's not very many. Bottom line the game is more or less like an obstacle course, you spend the greater part of your time running, jumping, swinging, and trying to figure out where to go next. The most annoying part of the game is the camera angles. Some of the games I own people complain about the bad camera angles, and i can never figure out what they're talking about. I have never seen a bad camera angle on a game before, until now. You can do look around mode in your cats-eye view, but when you let go of the button it zooms you back to where you first were. Sometimes you'll be in a spot where you can't even see yourself much less your surroundings. But I would say playing the game is a lot better than watching the movie. So for those people who think games should be a little more challenging, I would rent this one first. But if your're a big super-hero game collector, I recommend this one.
Thank God for Blockbuster.

This game is totally not as good as it sounds I went to Blockbuster and considering the movie was one of my favorites I thought this game would be good well I got home and put it in to my XBOX and I discovered that I was the wrongest person on earth at that moment thank god I rented it but still I wasted 4.50 on a video game that should be removed from the shelf at every store that owns it I was in EB Games that day and asked the guy if they had Catwoman and he said yes but it was for PS2 the game console that I really want right now so I was really dissapointed that they didn't have it thank god they didnt cause I would of bought and returned so thank god for Blockbuster this game is just terrible and I would be shocked if no store knew that. My grade over all (F-)

I bought this game yesterday and I found out that it was pretty similar to the movie Catwomen. Not only does it have great graphic but the whole sequence of the game is awsome. The story line is also great it follows the same effect of sequence like the movie from when Halle Berry turns to Catwomen to the unstopable hero. This game is so cool that you get to play with her whip!! and you could jump on wall and a whole bunch of challenges and obstacles. I also recommend that younger children should'nt play this game due to some violence of Language. But in the other side its great for kids over 12 years old.
Can't sleep? Play this game.

I bought this game for my kids to play, and after they bored of it after 30 minutes, I decided I would give it a try. Well, save your money and go buy a grande Starbucks coffee, at least that way you can stay awake. The "action" is boring and the gameplay is very lame. Not recommeneded.
Not Perfect, But Enjoyable

This game, like the movie, honestly depends on what you prefer. We know the let downs. Some of the controls, fighting, etc. We know the strong points. The graphics, the Halle Barry voice that brings the new Catwoman alive in the game for you (although that's arguable, considering that some might not like it.. But how can you not?), etc.
I enjoyed the movie. I knew its downfalls, but in my opinion (we're all entitled to opinion folks, let's not judge a movie by opinion, but movie elements, techniques, etc.) it was fun. Patience was a little boring, but then Catwoman came along to lighten up the screen. In the video game, she's awesome to play with. Perhaps it's due to the graphics bringing you in so much, capturing her ever sleek motion. I would have liked there to be more combat maneuvers. But again, like the movie, it's just 'fun'. I think some people look into waaaaay too much. She's not overdoing her movements, that's just simply who she is, and it works. It fits her, the character. Awesome video game. Won't ruin the fun for ya, just go buy/rent it.
