In as short a review as possible... This game is identical to the original. The only difference is that you are playing different missions. I have noticed no real changes in the technology used to make the game or the game play. You might as well buy the original for half the price. If you already have it, e-mail UbiSoft and ask them why this wasn't an expansion pack for $20.

Don't give UBI any of your money!

I think everyone should boycott this company and force them to rethink their bull**** idea that a customer who purchased a legitimate copy of their game cannot run the game because of other virtual drive software on their machine (ie. alcohol 120%). There is no way I will give $50 to this f'd up company.

Overall, the secone installment of splinter cell has been a joy for me. Currently I'm on the 7th level (the TV station level) and like it alot. The single player gameplay is much like the first game, but with a few improvements. To be successful in this game, Sam must rely on his stealth more than in the first game. I feel the locations are many times better than the original, with much more lifelike graphics. Also, the storyline of this game is easier to follow and more understandable than the original splinter cell. Sam only gets a few new weapons, but they are cool, and only add to the good gaming experience. If you have played the original splinter cell, this game will be a bit easy, so i recommend using the hard difficulty setting. AI has definitely been improved in this sequel, the guards are smarter than before, adding difficulty to the gameplay.

I have only played the multiplayer twice, but like it alot. It kinda feels like CS, but even better.

I would recommend this game to anyone. It rocks!!!

I am looking toward this sequel. I own Rainbows Six 3: Raven Shield and I can't wait the multiplayer option for this game. It's going to be deadly and bloody!!! Those who own Raven Shield knows what I am talking about. However unlike Raven Shield, you have the possibility to make some top notch moves...:).
The screenshoot seems that they have changed the view for the multiplayer part to increase the playability. Hopefully they will change also the crosshair which was quite terrible in the first game!!! The story and difficulty of the game should equally be the same.

DO NOT BUY THIS GAME.

First of all if you do not have ahigh end system this game WILL NOT WORK even with the patchs installed.Second i loaded this game on a $5,000 AlienWare system and still it took me TWO DAYS to get it up and running.
O.K. the game play and graphics are nothing special and the game play is so LINEAR that if you do not do the exact thing at exactly the right time you will get detected or killed.Case in point on the Paris train mission if you move too fast and do not go with the programming pace you will have to repeat and repeat the same thing over and over.
This game was $40.00 wasted thanks Ubi-Soft,and all those good reviews are probably UBi-Soft employees.Talk to your friends and check the websites this game is 90% bugged.

I have and idea for all the people having problems with the game. BUY A NEW COMPUTER. If you cant run a game like this you shouldn’t be playing them.

sure it is... for one i played halo and far cry and alot of other gun high teck games but for some reason i play this game alot more than the others cuz ITS SO ADDICTIVE!!! sever sucks in a way cuz you cant add friends to your list or find your buddys. so that is a downer =( but i do love it were u can make a game to play 1on1 if you want or make up your team the way you WANT. but if i was you and wanting a fun gun game that will keep you busy for months to go and alot of spending time into and i mean "well worth your money". this game is for you!! p.s. if you need to upgrade just to play it. its worth it i think....

I don't understand why somebody with a $5000.00 alienware was having problems it is a lot better than the computer I have which is a $1500.00 HP Pentium 4 3Ghz and a 5200 256mb video card with the latest drivers installed and it still worked right out of the box. I loved it. It took me almost a week to finish it and I still play again and again.

TOM CLANCY HAS DONE IT AGAIN BUT LETS NOT FROGET UBISOFT THE COMPANY THAT HELPED MAKE THISN GAME HAPPEN.PANDORA TOMORROW HAS ALL THE GREAT MOVES THE FIRST ONE DID AND MANY,MANY, MORE THERE IS ALOT OF GAME IMPROVEMENTS FROM THE FIRST TRUST ME IF YOU LIKED THE FIST GAME YOU WILL LOVE THIS ONE .THE GAMEPLAY AND CHARACTER MOVEMENT IS PRESCISELY HANDLED YOU CAN DO JUST ABOUT ANYTHING WITH SAM FISHER WHO IS THE MAIN ROLE ALONG WITH THE THIRD ECHELON PROVIDING SAM WITH DATA AND INSTRUCTIONS TO FULLFILL THE MISSIONS.ITS STEALTH MOVEMENT AT ITS BEST DONT RENT THIS JUST DROP THE 50 BUCKS AND PURCHASE THIS MASTERPIECE.

Graphics Chip?

It appears that the game will not work with Mobility Radeon 7500 with only 32 MB of RAM. Just wondering if anyone had any thoughts on whether or not it is worth it to purchase this game if I only have this card. My other specs exceed the minimum requirements. Thanks.
