Great , addictive game.

It's games like this that prove why PSP is the best handheld gaming system. No way in hell can you find amazing fun games like this on DS, which the graphics either. PSP has it all. This game is about a virus that has turned harmless people into "The Infected" similar storyline to the 28 Days/Weeks series or the Romero Dead series the zombies have taken and are taking over, eating us alive and turning us into them with some people being immune to the virus and those immune have blood that kills the infected, hence the viral gun. Great upgrades and danger pay to buy them, cool customize character and multiplayer. Awesome game that has it all. Don't become one of the INFECTED.

If you're a fan of Death Metal, extreme gore, or zombies, this is a must-own game. The plot is simple, almost deceptively so. You play the role of a cop who has to save civilians while hacking and shooting his way through hordes of the undead. I enjoyed the character custimization, and playing the game as the members of the band Slipknot was fun. The action is fast-paced, fun, and perfect in short bursts. Any problems? Well, after the first few levels, the action gets repetitive. You shoot zombies. Rescue civilians. Shoot zombies. Rescue civilians...you get the idea. Thankfully, there's a wide selection of weapons to keep the action going (chainsaws, missle launchers, machine guns, shotguns, ect.). I find it especially satisfying to hack through dozens of zombies with the chainsaw and see blood spatter in every possible direction. The soundtrack includes a huge array of brutal death metal, and it really gets you in the mood for some zombie slaughter.

not worth it, i beat the game in two days and i didn't evnen play it that much. The mision are all wither aving people or killing all the zombies n a time limit VERY REPEDITIVE. not owrth it even though its 15 20 bucks and the online sucks

THE GAMEPLAY: GOOD GAMEPLAY AND THERE IS LOADS AND LOADS OF VIOLENCE. YOU CAN SEE THE ZOMBIES BODY PARTS FLY WHEN YOU SHOT THEM AND THERE IS ALSO ALOT OF BLOOD WHEN YOU SHOOT THEM TO. THE SOUND: PRETTY GOOD SOUND WITH GREAT MUSIC FROM BANDS LIKE SLIKP KNOT. THE GRAPHICS: GOOD BUT NOT GREAT BUT, STILL GOOD.
ALSO IN THE GAME YOU MAKE YOUR OWN OFFCIER AND THERE ARE OFFICERS YOU CAN UNLOCK AND CUSTIMIZE AND THERE ARE EVEN MEMBERS FROM SLIKP KNOT YOU CAN UNLOKC AND PLAY AS! ANOTHER GREAT THING ABOUT THIS GAME IS THAT IT HAS WI-FI WITCH MEANS YOU CAN PLAY AGINST YOUR FRIENDS TO. THIS GAME IS A GAMERS MUST HAVE I GIVE IT A 10/10.

zombies, carnage, and fun with strangers

also a soundtrack made up of real death metal by real artists. lots of blood and gore. zombies galore. character customization with a bunch of interesting figures you have to play to unlock. chainsaws, grenades, rocket launchers. body parts. also, some pretty sick humor.

it's challenging enough to keep me involved without making me work too hard (it's a game, not a job)

also you can go online with it if you're near a wireless connection and find people to blow up (or get blown up by), and there's a Mad Cow multiplayer mode where you get points for surviving as long as you can as the cow.

it's sick. it's disgusting. the graphics are extreme. I'm in love.

Infected is possibly the WORST game out for PSP. First of all the graphics are about the same quality as you would find on a Game Boy Pocket. The controls are confusing (...). By the time you switch weapons you're already dead. You can't kill the zombies with just one gun you need two. There are only three things I even remotely liked. 1. The intro was kinda funny and amusing. 2. The soundtrack. Slipknot,Ill Nino, that kinda stuff. 3. the fact that u could dress up as the members of Slipknot. (...) I'm not bashing the PSP system itself. PSP is great. I'm disappointed that a system as respectable as this would release such (...) Another thing is that most of the good levels are for multi player. And also you don't get much freedom. On the back cover it made you think u could run around New York killing zombies. In reality you're stuck in a space that's about 100 square feet. Here's my advice. Don't buy this! Go out and buy Grand Theft Auto; Liberty City Stories! Maybe a movie like The Devils Rejects for PSP. Anything that's not this and you'll be atleast a little bit happier than if you bought this piece of junk!

This game is truly one of the best games out there for PSP. The graphics are pretty good. And the soundtrack is great. The fun level of this game is actually about a 10. The missions are easy to begin with but once you reach level 6 or 7 it starts to get real challenging which is awesome. There are awesome weapons to. And the costumes of Slipknot are awesome too! You could spend hours just blowing up zombies and you never get bored. It's so damn addictive! Definitely get this game (or Grand Theft Auto LCS) you will not regret it!
