An honest review

This game is perfect. I have a 5 year old cousin and we play it together. But to review this game I must be honest.

The PROS

Perfect graphics ( as close to the way I rember them for pooh and the others)

Hard and Easy gameplay foy a parent or friend to explain and help a kid

Cool story ( esp. if the kid you are playing the game with has or have had bad monster dreams as my cousin did you can help them work through the problem with this game. Now when he has a bad dream he thinks piglet is there to help him)

The controlls are pretty easy for use to understand and help

The CONS

To hard and scary for a child if you do not play with them and explain what is going on ( if you play with them this does not apply )

All in all this is an excellent game for family to get toughter and play if one of the players are a kid under 12. I just hope this helps someone

Cute Game

I recently purchased this game for my six year old daughter for her birthday. She was not really excited about this game because she wanted one of the more popular games out there. Some of those games are just to advanced. After playing this game for about 10 minutes the rest of her birthday plans went out the window. She gave up going to dinner so she wouldn't have to stop playing the game. Now my eleven year old likes it just as much. Finally a good game for girls to play.

Wonderful game for young children!

I purchased this game for my son's 4th Birthday and he absolutely loves it (I do too!). The graphics and sound are really well done (Gotham Games puts a little more effort into their games than other companies), all of the characters speak throughout the game which is great since this is mostly aimed towards kids that haven't learned to read yet. The game is very entertaining and gives you many different tasks to accomplish. I even find myself playing it when my son isn't even around! :0) The only downside for young kids is trying to "scare" off the Heffalumps and Woozles. To do this you must press the controller buttons in the sequence shown on the screen. The time is limited which makes it a little difficult for really young kids. My son doesn't understand how to do this yet so I get him past those parts of the game. I think this game is worth at least twice what I paid for it and I highly recommend it!

Terrible . . .

I bought this game for my 4 year-old who is pretty adept at gaming from playing her older brother's games. She is actually not too bad in Zelda games or The Hobbitor even Starfox Adventures. But this was frusterating - piglet walks so darn slowly, beating the heffalumps and woozles was too hard for her (sure she can fight all the bad guys in Zelda but her trying to figure out really fast the x,y,r,l,b,a buttons especially upside down or with the arrows too - forget it), and she really wanted to explore more but the game really isn't very interactive at all. So her brother helped her and he, age 8, beat the game in a day! Too easy for my 8 year-old and too not-what-we-were expecting for my 4 year-old. She really wanted to expore and you can't do this with this game. So far I am extremely disappointed in Disney's video games. Maybe someday they can get it together. In the meantime - don't waste your money. I purchased it for the clearance price of $15 and it was still way too much!

We bought a PS2 and wanted a game for our small children 5 and under. The five year old can do most of the moves necessary, and the other two love watching the game. If you are looking for something your little kids will enjoy, then i highly recommend this game. Lots of simple puzzles, colorful scenes, and great graphics. fun for the whole family to play together. Lots of replay value

As a mother of twin 4 year olds, who happen to love Pooh and the gang, I would reccommend this game to children around the same age. They enjoy the game, it's characters, and it's kid friendly cues on what item to find and the direction of which to go. They also enjoy watching out for the Heffalumps and Woozles and trying to defeat them.

There is one problem with this game...

This is a game that you would buy for your child, but that's it. No one that calls themself a "gamer" should ever bother popping this into their gamecube.
