This game is THE game for WWII buffs/shootaholics alike! Incredible graphics, no blood, and disappearing corpses(except on D-Day). Be warned the game gets MUCHO harder, but have fun with it, kick German butt, and win some cool medals. (Don't forget the incredibly awwwwesssomme WWII weapons [MP40, M1 Garand, STG44, and the incredible Spingfield '03 sniper, to name a few] :). All in all, buy this game for its absolute freedom of gore, awesome levels, easy play, and, oh yeah, THE GRAPHICS!!
Your finest video game.

When i bought this game i couldn't wait to play it. The first mission is pretty easy and so is the last mission. The guns are really good my favorite one is the thompson. I just beat it today. The multi-player mode is fun but not much use if you don't have a brother or sister. I try to get my sister to play but she always says no or i have to do my homework. So overall it's an EXCELLENT game. if you get the chance buy it.

This games is kind of my introduction to first person shooters. I haven't really gotten into any other game. As soon as I started out on de first mission, i was captivated. I got a great feel for the game. The gameplay was outstanding, you really feel as if you are there satanding with a rifle and losing aim because of nearby explotions and stuff like that. The other great thing is that you have different difficulty settings. I played it on normal, but if you are just trying to have some fun you should try it on easy. If you are just looking for a great challenge, you should play the game on hard. Also, it is very hard to get stuck in the game because they give you little hints as you go so the game never gets repetitive. The A.I. is pretty realistic. I wouldn't say it is outstanding but it is not predictable or stupid. Just a tip: do two thumb controls, trust me it is way more fun. Another way to tell you how much this game wraps you in, I ended up in the edge of my seat almost shaking as soon as the missions were over. Now, let's talk multiplayer. I haven't played much multiplayer but the little I have played, I wouldn't say it is the best part of the game. If you are into multiplayer, I would recommend that you buy something else. The areas were you play are very concealed, meaning there is like rubble or something that just kind of shuts off the map. Another downside is that you can't get the A.I. to join in on the game so if you only got 2 controllers, it will get kind of boring (lot of akward silent moments). So here is the finalscore sheet:
Graphics:8/10
Gameplay: 9.5/10
Story:5/10
Missions:8/10
A.I.:7/10
Multiplayer:4/10
Over All:7/10
This game is definetly a MUST HAVE.
+ Can try and get gold medals on all missions (good length)
+ Very good missions and gameplay
- Not quite there on multiplayer
- And not much of a story
IT AWESOME

This game gets me so freaked out sometimes, i once survived for three minutes without even being able to see my health line. But this game is also one of the hardest ive ever played. D-Day is awesome
Fun, but far from perfect.

All in all, this is an entertaining game. The brilliance of the first level is largely unmatched by first person shooters, but its also "largely unmatched" by the rest of this game too!
The German soldiers are a bit of overkill in my opinion... They're portrayed as drunks, at one stage one drunken one walks past you, lays down and uses a beer stein as a pillow. As a person with a few German friends, I think that might have been overkill.
The game has a more comicbook-ish slant than most people choose to describe it with, but a "realistic" portrayal of war is...miserable?
Now, the problems. The game has a number of places that the game just feels like it was rushed to completion. For example, at one stage you are leading a prisoner out of a house, to jump off of a balcony into some hay and escape. Well, said prisoner decides instead to walk into the wall and get half way stuck in it. So after a 20 minute level with no restart points, the whole effort is ruined in one frustratingly stupid an avoidable glitch. German soldiers often get stuck halfway in a wall, and can be attacked from either side.
I'm the kind of game player who really tries to poke about the entire level of a game, and notice the detail put in. And there is a lot of detail, there are also a lot of places in which you can become stuck, once again leaving you with that "Damn it!" feeling.
Also, no autoaim...you will spend a lot of time just trying to hit german soldiers who are right in front of you. It feels as if the game was just ported over from PC to Gamecube without any consideration for the different needs of a console gamer who's stuck without a mouse.
But, for $20, I'd buy it again. Just make sure you check online for some of the level skip cheats to help you if the game sticks you.
Medal of Honor Frontline definitely hits the mark...

I would have given this game a five, but it's control keeps me from giving it the best score. But don't worry, you'll get used to it. Still, what it lacks in control, it makes up for in the overall game experience. Remember the opening scene from Saving Private Ryan? Don't worry, you'll get to experience it all over again in the opening sequence of Frontline...and if you have a nice surround sound system, all I can say is make sure you tell the neighbors before you play because the sound is beautiful. Bullets fly, bombs go off uncomfortably close and in the meantime your fellow soldiers are being blasted into oblivion. Alright, the graphics aren't the greatest but the game is sure to satisfy those who wan't a shooter and for all you WWII fans. One other negative would have to be the missions you are put in. It seems unrealistic that you would have to fend off entire squads of soldiers by yourself...but hey, it is a game.
A good try

The game is excellent for people who have enjoyed the past Medals of Honor. The controls are difficult to adjust to if you have previously played this on Playstation, but easier if you just start up. The game has very good missions at first, but later on they become lacking as the first to campaigns. It seems almost like a redo, the mines, the V-2 factory and the U-boat and docks, they are all the same, few new missions. The story line is lacking too, it doesnt have the finish that the first one did. The game is also pretty short, you complete it fairly quickly, almost in one night. Multiplayer is very fun to play with up to 4 people and very intresting maps, but it only has deathmatch, no other modes are available. Other than these problems, it does have some fun and the graphics are pretty good, but I suggest renting it instead of buying it.
Tons of Fun

I can't see how some reviewers dislike this game. Im 38 and really enjoy it! I use to play the PS one medal of honor, and its pretty much the same thing, only better graphics. The Sound is outstanding.
You get use to the methods to aim. My nefew beats ...me when we do the two player mode. I guess it comes easier to some gamers. I do admit that I get dizzy sometimes, but I'm the only one I know who does.
One level took me 50 minutes to get thru, but I had so much fun it went very fast.
