The best part of this game is playing as THE HULK, and no one will argue that. Using his powers to crush people and objects is extremely satisfying. The levels are designed well, but could use a little help. Graphically, the game is outstanding.
Last year, Spider Man: The Movie was released around this time. While not great, it was fun for Spidey fans. The Hulk is very much the same way. If you would like to play as the hulk, then buy this now. But if all you want is an action game, you should rent first.

The Hulk is a great game. It is another great thing for superhero fans. The big part is that there is also a movie coming out! The game has over 25 levels and more attack moves then Sonic or Metroid Prime. I give this game 5 stars for excellence.
Feel the power of the Hulk!!

The Hulk is a famous Marvel character. He is so famous that, in a couple of days, we will be able to enjoy him on the big screen. With the movie up ahead, there was no doubt that some videogame company would make a title for this green, mean, powerful character. And the company who decided to create the game for the Hulk was Vivendi Universal.
The game mixes action, stealth, and fighting with the green Hulk. The game is seperated into two modes of play: The Hulk missions and the Banner missions. The Hulk missions are the best. You basically destroy everything on your way, grab anything that you want and use them as weapons, or simply throw them to some opponent. You can perform 45 devastating attacks in 25 destructible environments. You can break the back of a bad guy, throw a car to a helicopter, grab a big metal stick and hit your enemies, or you can just smash your enemies to the ground. The freedom in the game is great. You can do whatever you want to whom ever you want to. Vivendi did an excelent job when it comes to freedom in the game.
In the Banner missions, you use David, the normal guy who turns into the Hulk when he is angry. These missions are about stealth: you have to do things silently and without being discovered by any guard. These missions are a bit boring, there is no action. The purpose of these levels is to find the cure for David Banner's problem and they can get a bit repetitive.
The game doesn't follow the movie, it is a complete different adventure. The game is a very good game! You don't have to be a hulk fan to buy it, you can just be an action fan. The game is well done, the Banner missions could have been better, and an appearance from Abomination would have been awesome. But all in all, the game is brilliant and should be considered by any Gamecube gamer or action fan. Hulk fans don't think twice before getting this!
Features:
-Cel shaded graphics
-Perform 45 devastating attacks in more than 25 destructible environments.
-Kill 10 enemies at once.
-Mixes stealth (Banner missions) with pure action (hulk missions).
-Lots of unlockables including trailers and pictures.
-Battle against classic villians
-Become the Hulk, what else can you ask for?
The Bad things:
-A bit repetitive in the Banner Missions
-No camera control
-No Abomination appearance!
Overall, just BUY it and enjoy being the greatest green guy of all times!
A hulking heap of fun!

This game surprised me. I didn't think it would be anything to speak of, like most comic book games, but it really is a lot of fun. The Bruce Banner levels are a bit stale, but passable. When you turn into the green goliath on the other hand, you will have immeasurable amounts of gamma-irradiated fun. Trashing literally every single thing and inch of space in the environment, you can never get tired of tossing around baddies, blowing up tanks, smashing through walls, leveling structures pillar by pillar, and fighting equally-hulking baddies, all the while screaming wildly in the traditional way of a Hulk hissy fit. 30+ levels, as well as an entirely new Hulk game accessible if you can figure out the codes revealed in the movie and on IGN.com make for a long game with lots of replay value. Several features are included in the game, including every trailer for the movie. Also, several behind the scenes features for the movie and game, including exclusive set photos are on the game disc. You just need to unlock them. In addition to that, there is a challenge mode. It's a great package to own. A downside is the camera, which is sometimes intrusive, but overall it works. The Bruce Banner levels should not have existed, or should have been improved on severely. Otherwise I would definitely reccomend renting it, but would hold off buying it since it goes by fast. Don't buy unless you're a Hulk fan or really liked the movie. Either way, it's a lot of fun.

OK..We all know Hulk came from a long time ago, abot 30 years, but this hulk is even better. It all starts when u go to a bathroom and you look in mirror and you see a huge green beast. It grabs you and pulls you to the mirror and knocks you down. Then, you look again, and you see your eyes glow green. Then, you smash out of the gas station and your the almighty, gamma powered Hulk, a huge mutant with one big temper tantrum. The irst level is easy, and it tells you how to play. Most of the other levels can be sort of hard, and some are really hard.
In the levels you are either Hulk or Bruce Banner. Hulk is more of the destroy everything kinda levels, and almost anythin in sight is smashable. In the Bruce Banner levels, you have to be stealthy and sneak past guards, killing them without making a scene.
Overall, I give Hulk 5 star rating because in my opinion, this is the best GCN game yet.

I'm sorry all you Hulk fans out there, but this game is one of the worst games I've ever played. It brings me back to the super nintendo days. Graphics are horrible (except in the cut-scenes), terrible camera system, and the Banner missions all make for one bad, repetative game. And when I say repetative, I mean you get deja vu everytime you walk into the next poorly designed "factory" or "science lab" level. There are only about 5 different enemies, which you will face many, MANY times. The story is so convoluded, there shouldn't have even been a story in the first place. And the objectives, oh the objectives. Since when does destroying a giant gamma orb solve all of life's problems? I'm serious, in every friggin level, it has you destroying a gamma orb (or something closely related to one). It does have its high points though, it's a little fun kicking waves of mutated dogs around a big empty room until they die.
Overall- 2/5

The Hulk for Gamecube is a good time. The controllersa re easy to use, the levels are challenging, and the interface is fun. The only downside, and it's enough to lower my rating from 4 stars to three, is the insufferable Mountain Dew plugs. Can't we at least keep the advertising out of video games?

I had rented this game, and I had gotten board within 2 hours! Sure its fun for a while, drilling people into the ground, breaking just about everything and using it like a baseball bat.
It seems awsome at firts, then you get to the later levels. It's the same thing the entire game. I would strongly recomend to rent this game before you buy, trust me. I wrote this review only because I'm trying to save you from youre self. I gave this game a 1-5 because it acualy has lots of breakable stuff. I also decided to give it a 1-5 because its to easy and I beat it witthin a few hours. Now maybe I'm too picky but you dont know me so it dosent matter know dose it. But! I must give some gratitude for the grafics, even on PS2 they look smooth. But grafics isnt evey thing.
