First off, I always come to amazon to read reviews for games/DVD's im interested in picking up and well...there was no review for this game! Not one review for all three platforms gamecube, x-box, and PS2! Needless to say I was a bit skeptical about buying the game. Well, I am glad I did! This game is so much fun!!! Plus, for 20 bucks...you cant go wrong! This game is very colorful, graphics are done with detail and gameplay is third person which i love! You run through worlds as Dr. Muto collecting objects to create a device to rebuild Muto's home planet which he destroyed! The creatures in this are great! Dr, Muto also morphs (changes) into other creatures, such as a mouse, to get through tough spaces.
So Much Fun To Morph!

I never knew what to expect when buying Dr. Muto. But I found it hilarious and not just your usual platform adventure. You must collect lots of DNA from your ray gun an order to get enough to morph into animals. Which is my fav part of the game, morhping into fun creatures. If you'll looking for a good time, buy Dr. Muto for GameCube, it's so much fun morphing! Also, something that I might point out to is that this game also has special features on it that are rarley seen on video games. Its got two featuretts on it that has the art of Dr. Muto and another featurett on the worlds and creating Dr. Muto and the voice of him as well. I thought that was interesting to see on a GameCube game, which makes Dr. Muto exciting to see how these game people bring the crazy scientist to life. Check them out on the extras on the menu screen. You'll be amazed out how much effort they did in creating Dr. Muto.

this game is so fun...dr. muto is a really funny game... it
has four different planets to play on...it is hard at the start but then really fun...the bad thingabout it is you have to look around for everything...i got it for twenty dollars and it was worth the money...they could have sold it for ...just telling you that you should buy this game...

Dr. Muto is not a bad game. At the same time, Dr. Muto is not an amazing game. Dr. Muto is about the most average game you will ever play. Ok, it's made by Midway, it has a low production value, and it doesn't do anything to seperate it from other platfomers. Yep. Sounds average to me. The morphing aspect of the game is cool, but there could have been a lot more forms. The level design is slightly above average (considering the production cost), but other than that, there's other platformers that should be played before this one. The people that would love Dr. Muto are the Platform Gamers. I like platformers, but I have played much better ones. End the end, I can say I was amused by the antics of the mad scientist, but easily forgot about him weeks later. Dr. Muto gets an average 3 stars out of 5.
