I love this game. It's a lot of fun and it also makes to think. The only part that don't like is that it got annoying to play for long periods of time.
Good game but to short

When I first played this game I thought it was really cool but with only 7 realtivly short levels I finished it withen 3 hours. The levels are fun in themselves but the combination is not good. If you like games with good graphics and like Spider-Man get this game. For everyone else it is not worth the money.
Very shallow side-scrolling game

Clearly I'm in the minority with my opinion, but I simply don't see the appeal of this game. Encountering enemies becomes repetitive very fast and they quickly become a nuisance more than any kind of real challenge. Fighting is overly simplistic and each level offers little in the way of variety or challenges. The music is weak; hardly SNES caliber at all. On the plus side, Spiderman is animated very, very well, but the backgrounds are dark and lifeless. You won't see much background activity or details.
Simply put, it's a shallow game. There are better side-scrollers out there. Try a Mario game, Wario Land 4, or (my personal favorite) Castlevania: Circle of the Moon.

i like spiderman, but hate side scrollers. ive also played all the newer spiderman games, and my expectations were low. this game was no surprise. Its one of those games you play a lot at first, and if you havent beaten, or even if you have, and never pick up again. if you like side scrollers, and the other spiderman games, buy it. if youre not one of those people, dont get it.

Spiderman's first outing on the GBA, delivers as much it needs too but not enough to satisfy. In the 7 odd playable levels each a multistage adventure in its own right, Spidey swings, jumps, fights and dodges his way into familiar territory.
Sharp, crisp graphics, engaging enough sound and tight control do a lot to keep this title's head above water. Though only just make up for the lacking plot and all too brief experience.
Fans and platform junkies; please form a queue to the right, the sceptics can just pass this title by.

This game is pretty good until you get to the amusment park level.I've played the game so much and I still can't beat it. The gameplay itself was good, but the graphics are kinda dark.Overall, this game is pretty good. so if you buy this game, prepare to be challenged at the last level.

My previous review on this was titled,HERE'S SPIDEY! It said that it is very fun n' stuff, but after I played Spiderman: the movie, on the PC, I discovered that I was very, very wrong. This game is 2D, while the other game is MUCH more relistic, and is 3D.The other one is based on the movie, while this is not. I can't get too upset about the sound, because this game is for Gameboy Advance, while I played the movie-based one on the PC, but, the sounds are VERY repeditive.
Great, Fun Game!
