This game is really boring. Whats the whole point of playing pinball with pokemon. I mean, you would just hit a ball and the pokemon getting hurt. And then you would be like, "Why the heck did I buy this piece of junk?" So you wasted money. Also, the first pinball was better. It came with a rumble pack and this one doesn't

I hated this game. I mean, it's just pinball, (my least favorite arcade game,) if you don't like pin ball even a little bit...this game is really not for you.
NOT what I expected

I love pokemon and video games (even though I am a girl) and I was so happy when this came out. I begged 4 it 4 Christmas from my grandpa but when I got it I was dissapointed. See the graphics r sweet and the poke dex (or how ever you spell it) is awsome cause u can see all the pokemon you catch but the game is kinda boring. See all you do is play you get it in the whale or birds' mouth then you can catch pokemon by hitting these glob things on top. Yah it does'nt sound so fun huh? My brother and my dad end up playing it. I guess it's more of a boy game in my opian. But it is pretty cool that it's ruby and sapphire!
For die-hard pinball fans, and every Pokemon fan out there.

A reincarnation of Pokemon Pinball based on the Pokedex of Ruby and Sapphire versions, this title offers updated graphics, absolutely nerve-racking sound, and all the gameplay conventions of the first game. Okay, so you'll probably want to rip that cartridge out and mangle it after listening to the ridiculous music more than five minutes. But put that aside, and you've got a solid pinball game. Catch Pokemon with your monster ball, evolve them, hatch them, you name it. If you're a veteran of the first game looking for something besides new pokemon in this sequel, just stop right where you are -- you won't find it here. As with the first game, this is pinball... with one major element missing: anything resembling a multiball mode. And without multiball, the casual gamer that isn't instantly won over by the fact that the game is busting at the seams with a couple hundred of everyone's favorite critters is going to get bored sick with the slow gameplay and mildly repetitive minigames. Pinball fans, this is NOT a top-notch representative of the genre if that's what you're looking for. Catching the critters with your 'monster ball' is the lifeblood of the game, so if you can't get enjoyment out of that portion, you'll be sick of the game in general. The game sports two tables and seven minigames, with pokemon omnipresent in every last inch of them, right down to the plunger and the all-important bumpers. The minigames and the end-of-ball bonuses are where most of your scoring comes from, since the lack of a multiball mode also amounts to a lack of any "jackpot" scoring.Bottom line? As long as you can put up with the frustratingly slow pace of the game, its good fun. Replay Value: HiOverall: 3 out of 5 starsGraphics: This has to be one of the most colorful games ever made, and for some, that may mean its hard on the eyes. Smooth animation, a fair level of detail, and well-drawn characters.3.5/5Control: Its a pinball game. What needs to be said about control? Tilt is controlled through the GBA's shoulder buttons, and its just not possible for a pinball game to have unintuitive controls. No complaints.5/5Sound: And you thought elevator music was bad. Select pieces of the music were plucked straight out of the Ruby and Sapphire games, but the music that wasn't will make you want to go into convulsions before long. Keep that volume control DOWN.1/5Fun factor: In the end, a solid, if uninspired title. This is a game that just doesn't bring enough new to the series beyond GBA-updated graphics and the new Pokedex.3/5
Nice!

Nintendo transformed the old Pokemon concept, and created a new world of amazing features that you couldnt belive!
Pokemon Pinball Ruby and Sapphire makes a great boredom solution. A lot more advanced than the first one, you can catch over 200 Pokemon, and evolve them to add to your Pokedex.
Unlike the first one, you can hatch Pokemon from eggs. You may also save up coins to shop for power-ups in the Poke Mart.
This great game is a must have for any Poke fans out there!
Good for short term play but mindless pinball in the long term.

I bought this game today and have been playing it most of the day (about 8 hours max). The review is correct, it is a fun game but there is very little to keep you playing again and again in the long run. Still, it's a game i would take out now and then to play during car trips since it has a very good save feature that lets you save mid-game.
As far as catching pokemon, i dont understand what the point of it is. It's fun to catch them but to me it feels as if im catching different snapshots of monsters. There is no use for them, atleast none that I can think of. Catching pokemon in this pinball game isn't going to make your game any better, you will still play the same board and use the same ball. The only benefit to catching them is to complete your list of captured monsters and get points. Too bad they dont unlock mini-games where you actualy control your pokemon. Speaking of minigames, i love them in this pinball game. Each gives you a new theme and makes your pinball feel very much like a shootem-up game. For instance, you have to tag all the monsters at a graveyard with your ball before a timer runs out so that a boss appears. Each boss has their own little defence to keep from geting hit. In fact, i enjoy the minigames more then the pinball board itself since it is constantly changing.
Dont get me wrong, this game is good for a pinball game but not something you would pay full price for. Look for it as a rental or as a used one. In fact, having a used one may be better since someone else has captured some of the pokemon for you and will give you a set of high scores for you to beat.
Buy it cheep or don't buy it!

This game is worth buying if you can find it under $10. This game is a very good game for pinball and pokemon fans alike. There is realy no real point in this game so even if you find all the pokemon you can still have fun playing. If you read this review and you say what the #@%! is he talking about I would never buy that I don't blame you it is NOT that great of a game. If your like me you will play it a lot for the first week and play it less and less and finaly stop playing it. If you are looking for a pokemon RPG this is not your game. I realy do not know much about pokemon (I got the game as a gift I never would have bought it) If you don't like pokemon you can still enjoy it but pinball haters (like me) wouldn't enjoy it. I gave it 3 stars because if your not a realy big pokemon fan you will not like it that much.
It's ok
