this game is sadly stupid, you move slow, its hard, you have to put passwords but worse of all captian jack sparrow looks nothing like the real captian jack sparrow......bad game now i'm a HUGE pirates fan but this game is BAD dont buy it....and those pirate fans out there (like me!!!!!!) dont buy this game

The only reason I gave this game two stars was that the sea battles were fairly fun......the rest was just plain awful.......it came pre-packaged with a GBA (the kiss of death for a game right there). don't bother unless you get it for 50 cents.............

okay, when i first saw pirates of the caribean the movie i didnt think it would do good as a game but when i got the game for my birthday it was really challenging and fun.

Well, lets see... first off, this game stinks. If you want a good game like the Pirates of the Carribean movie, look elsewhere.

If you are looking for a game with characters that look like the movie's, don't buy this one! The graphics are not that bad in general, but the character portrayals are awful. Some of the levels become boring after about a minute, if you are still playing the level at the end of a minute. If you want a game that follows the movie's story line, this is not the game for you.

I bought this game for a long roadtrip, but was absolutly digusted in it. I though it would be fabulous because I luved the movie. But it wasn't. The only reason i gave this 2 stars was because the graphics were great. The players are slow moving, and it becaimes frustrating because the enemys move faster. Also they are hard to control. I often found myself hitting pillows and other vcarious objects around me in frustration. The levels are super easy. I returned it and got another one in hope that the game was just messed up and the charecters would move faster. HA HA they never did. it was basically a waste of money. I bought Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, and found it much better
NOTE: this probaly would work really well for younger people, but i am 14 and it wasn't to my tastes

I hate this game with a passion. I had expected somthing so much better seeing as how the movie was so good. But no, they don't even give Jack the right color bandana! And not just that they screwed up or are missing every major charactor, but the graphics are so bad, you can't tell friend from foe until they stab you. Please, please don't waste your money on this game. Not the advance version anyway.

This is a great game with wonderful graphics. If the graphics are bad it must mean that your gameboy is screwed up. This compelling game grabbs you from your seat the moment you turn it on. It totally finishes off a wonderful movie. Not a waste of money!

Great for kids, older buyers beware

(...) That being said it's a fun game for kids, but us mid-20 somethings were disappointed. Game play cramped our fingers more than other GB games. Also, this game is not very reminiscent of the movie. The song from the ride is reproduced well and sounds really cool, but that novelty wore off by the 4th mission. Also, it's not very convenient to write down passwords with a portable game system and the password font is hard to decipher. Still, worth it for the right price. Most GB Advance games are meant for kids, so this one has a slightly more adult edge than most.
