This is a great game!!! Come on! There is WAY more scenary and are WAY more rides to play with! Some are complaining about the number of scenarios but the big thing is that you can create your own scenario and pack it with TONS of cool stuff and just play and play!

RCT2 Wacky Worlds is the best rct game ever if you have Played rct or rct2 but if your new to the games rct2; ww will seam the most difficult pc game ever! if you have the tons of new rides are sweet! and 10% of the old rides have been improved and 70% are re-named the coasters are so exotic picture a neon green pide looping around and in the colosseum or a hot-pink+yellow coaster going over+thru the Grand Canyon! plus sweet, exotic, new, and profitable shops, snacks. All the lims, rides, screams, sounds of trains going 100mph,exotic and wierd colers,
and the abilty to build rides around the World is simply to much to put in to words, now i know why it is called wacky worlds I thind it should be rated 1,000,000,000 star!!!

this is the best roller coaster tycoon game to date. dont listen to other reviews, they just dont know how to play the game

I think it will be just the WORLD'S best computer game. New roller coasters, shops, thrill rides, seanery, and more. I hope they have the real park for CEDAR POINT!!! GET THIS GAME!!

OK - the good news is - this seems to be worth =some= money.

This expansion pack (you will need the original Roller Coaster Tycoon 2 to use this) adds a lot of new scenery like the Great Wall of China, the Taj Mahal, the Eiffel Tower, and other scenery to make parks an international experience. There are almost 20 new scenarios, 50 new ride types, and about 250 new game elements, mostly scenery.

OK - the bad news is - I don't think it's worth the current price of admission.

A lot of the "new rides" are just re-designs of old coasters. There's no new stores or other new goodies. Still only the Scenario Editor allows you to use the mountain maker. Many of the new scenery elements take up a lot of slots on the scenario editor. For instance, the "Golden Gate Bridge" needs five (5) slots - thus taking up room that could be used for other park scenery.

With this coming out so soon after RCT2, I can't help but ask if this was just a way to squeeze more dollars out of RCT fans. I would have been much happier if these "extras" had been included with the RCT2 first disc. Sure, we might have had to wait a little longer for RCT2, but we would have gotten a much more developed product. This "extra" pack had to have already either been in development or already totally developed for the short time between RCT2 and the first expansion pack release date.

I'll be watching carefully for any future RCT2 releases within a year - and see if they might include "Wacky Worlds" as an extra feature, just as they did with RCT1's "Loopy Landscapes" (which also included the add-ons from RCT1's "Corkscrew Follies"). Those who want to save money might want to wait till the end of the year, when either a third disc (with this second disc included) might be released, or the prices come down as they do for all video games.

Recommended, but only for Roller Coaster Tycoon purists.

RollerCoaster Tycoon is probably the best amusement park simulator game out there. The add-ons, Corkscrew Follies and Loopy Landscapes were great additions to the game. Then came the sequal, RollerCoaster Tycoon 2. It was between good and bad, but for the most part, good. Now, RollerCoaster Tycoon 2: Wacky Worlds. I hope none of you waste your time and money on this piece of [garbage]. It is by far the worst add-on for the RollerCoaster Tycoon series. Everyone wanted newer flat-rides, and they gave them to us, but they were just the same ride with different theming on it, like tea cups and cars and such. There were no new roller coasters or any new rides. They were all just modified from the oens in the original first two games. The worst part though would have to be the scenery objects... Some of them could be useful at times. I really think that the new scenery pieces look horrible and don't look anything like the original game's scenery. You can tell that the creator of the game, Chris Sawyer, had no part in this game... Hopefully, he will in the Time Twisters Expansion Pack. That game sounds un-[romising too...

So, I advise anyone not to buy this game, but go and buy RollerCoaster Tycoon 1 and 2 with the add-on packs, Corkscrew Follies and Loopy Landscapes.

Awesome Expansion for an Awesome Game

This expansion has new rollercoaster types, new scenarios and new thrill rides. I am disappointed that there are no new shops.
My favourite NEW thrill ride is the Chinese Firecracker. It's the same as Enterprise, but I think it looks cooler.
My favourite NEW rollercoaster type is Limousine Rollercoaster. I used to recreate my fave rollercoaster the Rock 'n' Rollercoaster At Disney World, Florida!
None (or very few, I can't remember) of the new rollercoasters have pre-designed rollercoasters. So go to the Roller Coaster Designer and let you imagination run wild!
If you want, but the Roller Coaster Tycoon: Wacky Worlds Guide. It's not essential (I didn't buy it) but it just has a few hints and tips to get you started. Buy if you have extra $.
You MUST have Roller Coaster Tycoon 2 to play.
Summary: The game is great. A LOT better than Theme Park World!

1. The new Roller Coaster Tycoon 2 game has gotten much harder.
And now Wacky Worlds... what are customers asking for? Not wacky cities, none of that. Just medium challenging regular games. Unless some want it to be hard, Wacky Worlds is not for you. Neither is it for me. Just forget about it... This, just the RCT2 game will not be an ultimate seller like other simulation games. At least it is not..... gulp.... Sim City. Now that is a complicated game.

hmmm... ok add-on I guess.

Wow, I didn't know Chirs Sawyer(the company name and real person's name's the same) would plan to release a expansion pack for RCT2 so soon. I got RCT2 because I liked RCT1 and the expasion packs but two years of playing and it is true that it's getting a bit boring.
But who knows, this expansion pack might have something unique to play and I strongly recommend for people who really likes RCT2, but we'll see what kind of expansion pack this will be.

I love this game. It is definitely an improvement over RCT1. It has the same look and everything, but some of the annoying parts of 1 has been fixed in 2! For example, you can now have an ATM machine, so your guests don't have to run out of money. That really helps. There are more rides, food vendors, and overall more choices. If you liked RCT1, then you will LOVE RCT2!

The expansion isn't as fun as the other one, but for the price, it does add to your game! Just get it and enjoy more freedom.
