Freeverse 3D Pitch is a well done implementation

5 Rating: 5, Useful: 2 / 2

The 3D Hearts/Pitch pack will keep a Pitch or Hearts (or both) player busy for many hours. Beginners can play against the computer to learn the rules and then the strategies for these games then go online with the included GameSmith connection software (built into the game) to play with real people all over the world. The game really shines when able to play with others via GameSmith. One can play with or without offleading, partners, smudge, smudge wins all etc... and these games both support a choice of puppets, 2 of which, allow you to put a picture of your choice in their head. It is easy to chat while playing or out in a lobby trying to get a game going. Cards are social games and this product plays this up and delivers.

Big fun for pitch players

I was pleasantly surprised after discovering the Freeverse community. Not only have I found lots of good Pitch and Hearts players, but as a bonus I found players with a sense of humor. Unlike some sites where the lobby talk can get fairly nasty, this place refuses to put up with any swearing or bashing of any kind.Kind of a nice environment.
I recommend Freeverse as a great place to find tough and amusing opponents.

Sure, we all know that on-line card games can be addictive and fun..but it has finally been given a face that's fun to look at! With lots of different rule variations, customizable characters and real time play with people all around the world, you can shoot the moon 24 hours a day.
Will your work life be more productive? Probably not, but your on-line time wasted will at least be done in a cool environment

Entertaining at all levels

I used to think I was good at Hearts. Then I played this game online and was soundly trounced. I won't name names, but I'm sure you'll want to meet the experts yourself once you get ahold of this game. You can choose to play solo or online, and you can even host a game without using the FreeVerse server. I've found the online community (when I want real oponents) friendly and entertaining. The ability to change rooms, characters, and vary the bots' abilities keeps this game from being boring and repetitive. The game itself can be as entertaining as the family games of my past. I love the FreeVerse approach to card games and love this game, even when I lose.

and what about Pitch/Setback?

Hearts is the one I knew to begin with, but PITCH/SETBACK won me over. I never played that game before and am amazed I could learn it this way--but I did. And I'll never stop now. Get this game because you get both great games, the interface is great, and the ability to play solo or with others online is fantastic.

Great gaming fun

Never have I gotten so much out of $20. The people online are great and fun to play with, especially that guy Broham, and you are always able to find a game with people playing your game. Possibly the best part is that the server is FREE, meaning after you pay $20, you can play online all you want.

Hearts, Spades, Pitch (Setback) Wow!

If you like the idea of playing games online with a friendly group of people then any Freeverse card game and an internet connection will bring you to a fabulous place to play. Unlike the randomness other places you can play, you play with people you get to know (and like!) and the level of conversation is always adult, but not vulgar. The graphics are great and the fun never stops. If you like card games, how can you go wrong for $20? Think of it as two pizzas, but these game will last a lot longer and bring you a lot more pleasure and fewer calories.
