Excellent gameplay paired with a beautiful game

If you ever wanted to be able to play Diablo II on your GBA, this may be the closest (and best) alternative available to you! Excellent, compelling gameplay pairs with superb graphics and sound to bring you a LotR experience like no other before. Run through ~80-120 levels with either Aragorn, Legolas, Frodo and Gandalf (with Eowyn if you beat the game, and Gimli for multiplayer!) as you walk the path from Caradhras to Helm's Deep (for the Fellowship) or Mordor (for Frodo)!

The gameplay is very similar to Diablo II, with passive and active skill trees, attribute points and randomly generated equipment of varying qualities, attributes and "owners". Easy enough to learn, and great fun to master. The 2-player multiplayer capability just makes it incomprehensibly awesome.

The game is nearly bugfree, and the bugs in the game are so minor that they do not hamper gameplay whatsoever. A solid pick for any gamer anywhere. (10/10)

oh my gosh...

i thought this game would be OK; usually games made from big-name movies really [are bad]. but not this game! it was wonderful in every aspect. the music was straight from the movie and beautifully done. i was really impressed with the sound affects and detail they constructed for such a little screen. another great feature is how the levels are arranged, you just sort of keep going on with the story and don't even realize when the level's done because it is so much fun!i would definitely recommend this to a true tolkien fan, but i think anybody would enjoy this awesome adventure game.

GO LOTR!

LOTR The Two Towers is probably the best RPG games i've ever played for Gameboy Advance. Although it is a lot of fun, it is somewhat challenging. To play this game you need a bit of patience. The levels are massive, but the first level is like a maze. There is so much lever switching and button pushing in this game that you almost think its a puzzle game. It is very challenging, but if you have enough patience to play it, it is worth it.

This game is the best! It has great graphics and the characters look real. You get to be Frodo, Aragorn, Legolas, Gandalf, or Eowyn. This game is lots of fun but kinda hard. For example if you are Frodo you get to be invisible for a few seconds if you put on the ring, the only problem is that the ringwraiths can see you and they are really hard to kill. But if you really want to get going in the game I would choose Legolas, because he can shoot from a distance and kills things. Or Aragorn is another good person to use....it doesn't really matter. But to sum it all up this is a good but kind of hard game that is really fun!

A lot of fun, but too easy

The Lord of the Rings is my favorite book (yes, I know it's really 3 books) of all time. Therefore, I was simply ecstatic to learn that it was to be made into a movie trilogy and, subsequently, a large selection of video games. I would first like to say that I thought this was a good game. The enemies were relatively easy to defeat, but not so easy that it became boring. The addition of more difficult bosses like the cave troll and Lurtz the Uruk-hai also helped to make the game more interesting. Having said that, I also feel that the game was just a little too easy to beat; I beat it with all five characters exactly eleven days after I got the game, and I am accounted as being somewhat slow to beat a game. Also, the game has no replayability; once you have beaten it, there is no reason to go back and play it again, as it becomes very dull and uninteresting. Overal, though, this is a good game...

This is the best game i have ever played for game boy advance, and i do not have hours of time a dya to play it. so, ignore the reviews that its a short game, because unless you play every hour of every day, it will take you a while. the characters are very accurate, and the graphics are okay.

Great Game

And for those of you who have played Diablo that's not a bad thing. This game is great! Its action packed and with the multiple characters (and different levels with each character) the replay value is incredibly long. There are also unlockable characters and what is perhaps the most fun the multiplayer mode (unfortunately it is multi pack only). If you are a Lord of the Rings fan or a fan of Diablo you MUST buy this game. It's as simple as that.

According to my youngest son this game is totally awesome! He does play this game quite a bit. He wants to get one more that he doesn't have.
