I love this game my brother Rob has this game he plays it over and over.
If his eyes never got tired he would play it all day.I think it's the best game.

My 8-year-old loves this. Says it's even better then Red and Blue. And if you're worried about video game time taking away from reading time, make sure you get your kid(s) into roleplaying games. That way, they get both... and though Pokemon won't solve it all... you'll never have to nag them to go play Pokemon!

I personally thought that when the game first came out that it was kind of dumb but now i'm getting bored of the other pokemon games so now i started playing again and it's pretty fun. Recommended for people bored of the other games.

Ok so the game wasn't that bad but it was almost exactly the same. The only execptions were that you had a little Tomagatchi thing in your game, Pikachu was one of the worst Pokemon in the game, different Pokemon were in different places and that's about it. If you want a good game get the original pokemon games. They shouldn't be that expensive. You get the original feeling of one of the best RPG's ever, you get some bad graphics, the game was not made to make money but to entertain people. The only reason Pokemon is making so many sequals is that they're losing money and the games aren't really that much different than the originals. Red and Blue are the best Pokemon games out there.

The best part about this game is that you can name your Pokemon (I named my Pikachu Kitty-man, what did you name yours?)! I'm not sure if you can do that with the other games because so far I've only played this one. I don't even own this, a friend let me barrow it. I hope I do own this some day. The only times I remember having fun the first time I play a game is when I first played Super Smash Bros. and South Park: Chef's Luv Shack! Since I mentioned a South Park game I know what your thinking and your right, I'm not the age that this game is popular with, but that just prooves how much fun this game is! It's basicly a hunting game with a light touch of a fighting game. A couple weeks after playing this game I saw the cartoon for the first time and it was really annoying, especially Squirtle's scratchy voice and his repeative use of the word "Squrtle" (my sister who is 4 years older than me and loves the show and thinks I'm crazy). For those of you who haven't played this game but hate it just because you hate the cartoon, barrow the game from someone and try it out, it's really not as bad as the cartoon is. After playing this I hope to own all five of the Pokemon games, but untill then...memories.

This game is very educational. It helps the kids think more. It is a stratigy game that helps them learn while having fun

This is my opinion as a parent and it can be viewed in any way you wish. From a child's perspective, it is a great game and will keep you occupied for hours. Unfortunately for parents, this is all that the kids will talk about. Exercise your own opinion and stick with that decision.

I don't like Yellow Version because:

1.Picachu follows you all along.
2.The pictures are ugly.

ok,first of all this game is super,but is it same as pokemon blue,or pokemon red , because i want to buy those but i don't know how they are,and what about pokemon silver,and pokemon gold,are they the same too??please let me know ,i'll be checking here every day.thank you
