I got this as a gift for some family friends of ours. They invited us over for game night and we had a blast playing it. I had no idea that the game would remember which questions it has asked. I lost every round of course, but had a great time.
Not really like the original version

SceneIt makes a splash on the Xbox 360, albeit not a huge one.
It has a variety of puzzle types, some of which are typical fare for the series. However, answering them is now formalized into a multiple choice format which can remove some of the challenge from the game. Obviously this was done to cater to game console, but it does seem to kill a little of the magic within the concept.
Other than that, the presentation is mostly solid although the commentator gets old quite quickly. The game is still fun to play, and I have yet to see a repeat question. I just don't see myself playing this version as much as the original games.
Anymore?

Easily one of the greatest party games for the Xbox 360.
my only question is, when are they coming out with more?

Great conversion of scene it board game that uses the 360 well. remembers what questions it asks so it doesn't repeat and is easy to play.
Needs downloadable contents

This is a fun game to play. However, it desperately needs downloadable contents, since after a handful of long games, the questions start to repeat.
One of the best party games, but...

Scene it is one of the best party games. Honestly, it rivals RockBand and can be a lot more relaxing. Whenever our friends come over they beg to play Scene It. The big button controllers included with the game are also worth the purchase and make it that much more fun.
The only reason this game didn't get 5 stars has to do with its "life." After playing the game for several months you'll notice that some of the questions begin repeating themselves. It totally ruins the fun of the game if you are just playing in your family. This could have been easily remedied by the makers. Why not add some downloadable content for additional questions, etc.? Well, they didn't.
Beyond that though, and for occasional play, this is one of the best 360 party games.

This game is fun. It's a little easier than having to pull out the board and the dvd to play the other versions. The only problem that I have is that you have to play certain colors if you're only playing with 2-3 ppl instead of 4. Ex: Red and Green if 2 ppl and Red, green and blue for 3. But other than that minor thing it's great fun.
Great ice breaker and a hit at parties

I love this game. I bring it with me to all my friends' house parties and I always break it out when I host parties at home. Even though it only comes with four buzzers, everyone loves to watch the game and secretly play along. The challenges are numerous and fun - I especially enjoy the Screening Room (view a movie clip, answer questions) and Child's Play (name the movie based on a child-like crayon rendition of a famous scene)
We usually play in "short mode" which makes games run about 35-45 minutes. "Long mode" takes about 70 minutes and then there's "party play" where the game keeps going indefinitely and people shout out what they think the answers are.
I was impressed with the variety of movie trivia there was in the game. There were movie clips and questions from movies ranging from Laurence of Arabia to Sweeny Todd to Wedding Crashers. My friend's mom played the game and came in 2nd place on her first try. This really is a game for everyone. My only complaint is that although the game will "remember" which questions were already asked by using a memory card or hard drive - I've already had repeats. However, that's only maybe 20-30 questions out of the thousands that we've answered.
Controllers Great :) Game Terrible :(

I'll be brief.
The controllers hold a great deal of potential for future buzz-in style party games.
This game however, is ultimately lame.
GOOD:
Actual film footage used in questions.
The scoring format keeps everyone in the game to the end.
As previously mentioned... the controllers.
BAD:
Repetitive... same cut scenes over and over and over and over and... *
The MC (the gameshow host/announcer... whatever) is extremely annoying. I mean really, very, excruciatingly annoying. If they ditched the announcer, this game would improve 1000%. He is not funny and simply wastes everyone's time. Seriously, I was literally embarrassed to be making my friends sit through his ramblings. At least let us turn him off!
NOTE TO GAME PRODUCERS: PLEASE TRACK DOWN THE VOICE TALENT FROM "YOU DON'T KNOW JACK"... THAT GUY WAS ENTERTAINING.
Repeat questions... the game is supposed to have a function that keeps track of the questions that you've seen and doesn't ask them again. Suffice it to say, it doesn't work very well.
There is a pointless "Party Mode" which is basically the same as the regular mode, but just doesn't keep score. I have no idea why you'd want this.
Graphics are cutting edge 1998 Flash animation quality. In their defense, most of the DVD is probably filled by the video content used in the questions. Decent graphics are an unaffordable luxury.
No online gameplay... not sure if this is even possible, but whatevs.
In summary... Lots of potential. Disappointing. Embarrassing. Collecting dust.
Hope they come up with some more games for these cool controllers.
* over and over and over and over and over.

If you want a great entertainment game for friends and family this game is it. There are so many quesions I have yet to have a repeat. You get the game and four controllers with big buttons. It's a trivia game that is a must. It's easy to set up and use and even more fun playing. I highly recommend this game for a fun filled night of laughs.
