The X-Files game for Sony is very realistic and creative.

The X-Files game for Sony Playstation is the most realistic and immensely creative game I have ever played. Everything about this game is very real. It seems as though you are actually in the television show (which is terrific for real X-Philes!). I give it the most stars it can recieve, which in this case is 5 *'s!

Good game, good graphics, almost too simple.

Excellent game with excellent graphics. It is all filmed material, so it feels like you are actually out investigating with mulder & scully. Although, these excellent graphics didn't leave much room for developing a challenging game. I bought it on a Friday and by Sunday I was on disk four, which is why I only gave it 4 stars instead of 5. It would have been a bit better if you actually got to play as either Mulder or Scully too.

I'm a big strategy game fan, and I think that this game is really worth a second look, even if you're not an X-Phile. (Which I am) Good game, good plot, good characters, all around five star entertainment. Don't let little kids play it though. You handle a semi-automatic pistol, and somwhow that doesn't seem like a good thing to impress on childrens' minds now adays.

I absolutely LOVED this game, quite possibly the best I've ever played. The graphics were awesome, and I loved that you actually participated in it. I suggest that any gamer or X-Files fan play this game, because not only is it intellegently designed, but it is incredibly fun. Have fan gaming!

Totally Fun!

well I guess my title sums it up: this game is the best! The graphics are great, the plot is excellent, and it's fun! It takes smarts (and courage- those guys in the warehouse are scary! ) to beat the game. And what about Agent Craig Willmore ("Hate him, hate him, wouldn't want to date him!"- "Syzygy")! well buy this game!

Cool Game!

I really liked the x files game. I'm a big x files fan, but I don't think this game is for you if you have not seen the show or don't like it. Personally, however, it's the best! The graffics are cool and the plot is good. It's like starring in your own episode.

pretty good but a bit slow

I love x-files but the game doesn't rate as high. Although I enjoyed parts of the game I spent a lot of time wondering around with nothing to do. I eventually found a cheat page on the web and the game moved a lot faster. The biggest problem I found with this game is that when it's over--it's over. 4 CD's and several days later your left with a $40 CD you don't really want to play again because you're already solved the mystery! Oh well- it was fun to play while it lasted.

Mystery...Comedy...the choice is yours!

I like this game a lot. While it was slow moving, I felt the pace was a plot device to throw you off guard when things got dangerous. In that way it worked well. I had no problem with Mulder and Scully's small role because I think the purpose is to let the player decide what kind of agent they personally want to be rather than imitate known personalities. It put more pressure and responsibility on you. We know the stars of the show won't get killed, but you just might that's part of the fun! Another juicy element to this game is the fact that you have to make chioces on questions and actions; it's fun to misbehave! Just put the handcuffs on Skinner and see what happens! Ask the same questions over and over again and see how the characters get annoyed! Agent Craig Willmore can be such a jerk if you know what choices to make. You can play the game as a mystery or a comedy!

The X-Files Game

The X-Files game has the best fmv's of any game I've ever played. It's an involving game that takes a lot of time to complete. It gets confusing at times-you get lost as to what to do next and end up walking in circles for a while. But, for fans of the show, interest should hold out long enough. I do think they needed to have an option added to the game-choice of characters(ex:Willmore, Mulder, Scully, Asta). Overall the game was pretty good, but has no real replay value.
