waste of money!

Do yourself a favor and go to your nearest blockbuster store and rent this game! It is not worth buying although it is fun to play it gets boring after awhile because once you die you die! then you have to start all over again! it would have been better if their were some save points I am so glad I rented this game and didn't buy it cause it probably would have been hard to sell

This game is exactly what it claims to be! The arcade versions of both titles playable on your Nintendo Wii! There is nothing to complain about! The controls are tight and responsive, and the game is more fun than I've had in a long time! What a blast! House of the Dead is great for when you want to sit back and relax. Great fun!

If you are one of the ones who complain because the game was not enhanced, or did not have any great, new extravagant features, then listen up..... If you buy games like this, then YOU will open the doors for Sega and the rest to release more compilations and games like this WITH ENHANCED/ADDITIONAL features!!!!

SO.... buy the game! It is totally worth it, and you will encourage others to release more great games in this genre!

Right on!

A shooting game for $30 bucks can't be beat!!!

After playing the shooting game in Rayman Raving Rabbids I knew that I had to get another shooting game for the WII so I pre-order House of the Dead 2 & 3. I was happily surprise to receive the game a couple days before the estimated arrival date and let me tell you, we play the game all night long. The game is just like the arcade game in which your character moves on their own and your only real task besides saving people is to shoot zombies and have fun. It seems this game is a direct port of the game that was in the arcade so the graphics are just as good as the graphics for video games during that era (1990's). Graphics for House of the Dead 3 are much better then the graphics for House of the Dead 2 but anyone that has a Wii didn't buy it for its great graphics ability, they brought it to have fun which this game delivers. The only thing that sucks is just like the arcade game, you always start from the beginning of the story, there no save points. After long play our wrist started to ache due to the way we held the Wii remote to shot and I recommend getting a gun adapter such as the Wii Perfect Shot (which I plan to get).

I loved the original in the arcade and now I can play my favorite game anytime. Maybe I'm wrong but my whole family plays this game including my 11 yr olds. Everybody enjoys shooting the zombies and watching the splatter. You can leave the blood green or switch to vibrant red. I'm sure George Romero would be proud. With 2 player action you'll hear a lot of "Quit shooting my zombie!"

this is a good buy. you get the classic house of dead 2 along with 3. House of the dead 2 is an ok game but 3 is so much better.

This is a classic shooter game! I decided it was a no-brainer to buy it at $19.99 when Amazon dropped the price from $29.99 to $19.99! Graphics are not up to date but for $19.99 you can't beat 2 games in 1. As I'm writing this review Amazon bumped up the price to $29.99.

Worth the buy.

I greatly enjoy playing this game. House 2 is great but part 3 is much better. I really wish they would have paired up the game with the Perfect Shot gun but it was cool. I purchased the gun seperately and received both within a day of each other.

This is a great game for fans of the arcade version. When played with the Wii Perfect Shot gun, it simulates being in an arcade again. One of the bonuses of the game (arcade mode) is you can advance your skill because the game doesn't just end if you die once...you are allowed multiple tries before the game really ends.

Very Fun!
