One of Capcom's greatest fighters now on the gba

I played this game about 11 years ago on SNES but it didn't have Guy as a character choice (you had to purchase either final fight Guy for the SNES or Final Fight CD for the Sega CD) The game remains faithful or close to the arcade version names of the bad guys are the names used in the arcade and not the SNES version. The car smashing bonus gane is included and there was another but it escapes me at the minute. I have the game boy player for the cube and it looks good on a 29" screen. I think if you have not played final fight one you should the price is under $20 and it is fun I also think the graphics even edge out the old snes version. A recommended buy

Game Boy Player?!

This is an excellent game from the late 80's and the gameboy port is about 99% exactly like the arcade version. The 1% that's inaccurate are the changes of the female fighter into the male fighter Sid/Billy and that when Haggar grabs an enemy...he holds them by the upper arms/shoulders. In the arcade version he grabbed them around their necks! That male fighter has the exact same moves as the female but was changed for reasons unknown to me. This is a great game and worth your money if you loved this in the arcades back in the day.

This game ROCKS!!!

YES!! You can use the EXACT Street Figther Apha Guy and Cody!!! After beating about 50 enermies, you unlock the secret and can use the Street Figther Apha Guy and Cody (by pressing left/right in character select)!! Looked exactly like it!! Made the game easier because they are stronger! Besides, the dialogue is way funny!! Apha Guy was talking to bosses like, "What am I doing here?? This is 1986?!" AS IF he went back to the past!! SOOOO Cool!! You gotta try it!! Just this two new character were worth my money!! Made this already great game even better!!! Damn!! WAY NICE~~~~~~~!!! GO~! GET~! IT~!

Decent but not worth (the money)

Final Fight One is one decent game that plays well on the GBA. Each of the characters packs his own punches (pun intended) and there is enough stuff to keep you addicted for a few hours. In the end, unfortunately, it gets boring as you make the same moves over and over again. So you might want to rent it instead of shelling out (money) for a game you won't play many times.

The arcade classic finds a new home

Final Fight was a huge hit many years back. The original featured Haggar and Cody, busting up guys on the streets of Metro City. This version for Game Boy Advance, features another controlable character; Guy, all the levels of the original, (plus the forgotten level), and a feature that keeps tabs on the number of guys you kill. As the total gets higher and higher, you can accumulate cheat options. The game itself features excellent graphics, great play control, a standard beat-em-up game design, good music and sound, and more thugs than you can shake a fist at. The action is fast paced and constant. You'll enjoy this if you're a fan of the arcade version, or just someone with anger management problems looking to relieve some stress.

better than the super nintendo version

This version of Final Fight is even better than the super nintendo version. The graphics, sound, among other things make this one better. You can even fight with a third fighter, Guy, which was only available in the old arcade Final Fight. As a matter of fact, this game boy Final Fight IS an almost exact replica of the arcade version, something they weren't able to accomplish with the super nintendo.

Final Fight is one of my favorites!

For those who loved playing the arcade version and owns a GBA, this game is a must. It has almost everything from the arcade and some extras like new cut scenes, progress save between levels and level selection. The gameplay is simple but its a very enjoyable experience and its even better when put it in your pocket and play it anywhere you like.

A direct port is not always a bad thing.

Oh man. I still remember playing the arcade version at the corner store when I was a kid. Back then, playing with tons of kids hanging around you was fun. Now it's on the GBA and it's still just as much fun. Beating the crap out of bad guys never gets old in this game. It does become a little boring after you beat it but picks right up when you start to unlock the games secrets. Its easy to unlock the secrets. You unlock them by defeating bad guys. (IE. After 1000, you get one secret, after 1500 you get another) It's better if you find out what the secrets are yourself but once you unlock them, replay value soars. DEFINATLY BUY THIS if you loved the arcade version.

Fantastic Game

I remember playing Final Fight in the arcade back in the day and loving it. This version is everything the original arcade version was and more. Compared to the snes version it's far superior, as the snes version didn't have guy and was missing the industrial area. This gba version not only has the missing area and guy, but also 2 bonus characters you can play as, alpha guy and alpha cody, also there are many cool settings you can unlock as you play other than the bonus characters. This is a great game and well worth the money, one of the best street fighting games in my opinion.
