I so used to play this on snes with my friend i love this game this game is nothing short of awsome. I would give this game a 9 out of 10. I hope they make 2 and 3 also.

It's fun, but the graphics are dissapointing...

I like this game, but I am upset that the graphics arn't that sharp. It's hard to see the characters eyes and features 'cause the graphics are kinda blurry or something. I just wish the graphics were sharper and easier to see 'cause it was kinda hard to see where you are going.

Excuse the horrible title of this review and buy this game. Do it now. This is one of the best games for the GBA. Anyone who has played the SNES version will be familiar with characteristics of this game. You play the roles as Donkey Kong and Diddy on your quest of getting your stolen bananas back. On this adventure you can roll/cartwheel your way through enemies, collect bananas, and collect the letters KONG and balloons to earn extra lives. The gameplay is the same as the SNES version, but how about the graphics and sound? Graphically, it takes a seat back. Though brighter for the dark GBA screen, the effects don't impress and don't stand out as much. The sound is perfect. The only difference is that it's coming through the GBA speaker. The inclusions to this game are the save anywhere feature (Yes!), DK Attack (go through a level as fast as possible), and a couple of mini-games. The fishing mini-game is fun but Candy's dancing game is bad. I also like the intro better in the GBA version because of how the words "Donkey Kong" come down from the top and the letters "C-O-U-N-T-R-Y" slam down under it, you'll see when you buy it. IGN.com gave this game a 8/10. I don't think that score gave this game justice. If base your score on comparing it to the SNES version it deserves an 8, but on its own it deserves better. This is an awesome game and I highly recommend it.

My 4 year old wanted it, so I bought it. He likes it quite well and gets along fine in the game, I like it also. The graphics are very pretty and the game play is moderately easy, there are some tricky parts. I thought it might be to difficult based on some reviews, but anyone who has some game playing experience should do fine; probably not a good first game.

i think that this is the coolest dk game yet! it's cool how u can ride on some animals and travel through a bunch of levels. this is a game that u have to get!

this is one of the best games i ever played!

the graphics are incredible and the bad guys are hillarius

you ride rhinos and frogs and fish, plus a level with mine carts!

My faviorite part is the blue beavers

in one level they chase you in millstones !!

i'm almost 14 But i love this game!!!

this is the best game ever (next to the mario brothers) I used to play it all the time on nentedo but now that i have gameboy advance i hope i can get it for christmas because i have not played it for years.

I really do not like this game at all!I think the graphics are bad and the game is boring.If you are going to make #2 make sure you improve it!

I got dk country last year.It is the BEST game I have ever played.It also has the best graphics.so if your a Donkey Kong lover BUY THIS GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
