Zelda meets Blade...COOL! This game combines dungeon crawling with vampire hunting. I didn't buy it from Amazon, but I highly recommend it!

This game is absotlutly fun. It's hard to get out and find no sun in your backyard. This game is only fun if you live in a sunny climate. It's not an RPG but contains elements of one. This game is fun and is first to use solar energy. Buy this game if you live in a sunny climate.

First of all, I would like to say that the new game Boktai: The Sun is in Your Hand is one of the best games I have ever played and almost the best game I own. First of all, it has a complex and interesting storyline that keeps on continuing when you think it will stop. It is about the Solar Boy Django who goes to avenge his father¡¦s death. Later, he finds out that the Moonbeauty, Mani has been captured. He then sets off on a quest to free the world from the Undeadening, a process in which the Immmortals plan to turn every creature into an Undead. Breakthrough solar technology adds more excitement to the game. A solar sensor on the top of the game cartridge takes in sunlight (normal light will not work, I¡¦ve tried that already), and It is used to activate the Pile Driver, recharge the Gun Del Sol, and in general play the game. Gameplay is a sneaky Metal Gear Solid type except for the fact that once you are seen, reinforcements don¡¦t flood you. So, the next time you see this game in a store, don¡¦t hesitate to try it out. Oh yeah, and I've played just about a billion games.

For a long time iv wanted this game for a long time about three months.I was exited to finnally get it, I understood it uses sunlight to play,I waited two days days to play,all the sunny days in san clmente The sun doesnt come out So I try to play without it because I wanted to play,and......trust me it doesnt work well.You need reeeeeal sunlight which I know.The gameplay isnt good,the graphics are ok.You probably dont want this game unless its constantly sunny.Overall,it isnt great I would not buy.I wasted money you should get sword of mana instead.

Ok everyone! I'm gonna put it simply. Get it... Now. This game is awsome! My child enjoys playing it for a long time. The coolest part is, as my child says, is the built in solar sensor! Kids in Alaska do have an advantage in summer though. Either way I suggest you get Boktai, and hurry!

the only drawback is that the sun tends to produce a good amouunt of glare off of my GBA SP, which sorta gives me a headache...but otherwise it's a great game :p

I got this game about a week ago. I am totally addicted to it already! Now my favorite Gameboy Advance game, Boktai: The Sun Is In Your Hand uses solar power to manipulate the gameplay. In the beginning, you set the time and the region in which you live. There are a lot of cities, so if you are close to them it really helps the gameplay! Also, how much sunlight you have affects the world in the game. In smaller levels and in Immortals' (the big boss guys) castles there are skylights to give you the advantage. BUT, they only appear if there is sun going into the solar sensor! Don't worry about nighttime playing! You can store the solar energy you get into solar stations for later use. You get power-ups for your gun like bigger batteries for more solar storage and lenses to use different attacks (The Luna Lens doesn't use ANY energy!). Also there are secrets only unlockable when there is sunlight. Some examples are the green, red, and gold apples.
Green: says- Sour!
Red: says- Sweet!
Gold: says- Mmm!
How much sunlight is going into the sensor determines how visible the words or secrets are. To conclude this review I will say one very, very, important thing...
YOU NEED SUNLIGHT TO BEAT THE BOSSES! OTHERWISE YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO BEAT THEM AND THEY WILL DESTROY YOU JUST THE SAME!

Here is just a little tid-bit for you.
Django was really a old european movie. It was about a vampire slayer that normally would carry a coffin behind him. But the movie was so horribly gorey, i was banned in many parts of europe. I saw it it was kewl
