great for kids

The learning curve is easy overall. The only problem I've seen is small
children may have problems kicking a field goal or P.A.T or the K.O. This
takes some dexterity that a child under six may not have. The game gives a
recommended play for each down so very easy to play. I liked it. Animation
very simple.3 stars for animation. 5 stars for fun. Overall a four!

I think this game is a good game for people ages 7-10 and for kids that know how to play football. I like it alot because it lets you make your own team and player. It is better than Backyard Skateboarding. Plus you have a season and real NFL teams. It is the best game!!!

Great Football Game

Hi, I really like this game because:
1. It's Football!
2. The graphics are fair enough
3. The backyard teams are cool and you can make your own player (you can only name them out of the "nicknames" they provide)
4. They have pro players (obviously)
5. And like most Gba games the controls are simple
One thing I don't like is that there is not much difference between the levels so all levels are fairly easy. They are not to easy to enjoy though. If you don't mind please rate my review.

toooooo easy

This game is lots of fun but it is WAY to easy so if you are a pro gamer that beats games in 1 day look further. If you just want a game thats fun and well made buy it

The first time I played this game it was ok. But after playing it for awhile it got boring. It was way too easy.

Good but not great

They game is sort of fun. This game was fun the first time I played it but now its boring. For one thing it's too easy. Another thing there's not that many people to choos from Back Yard baseball is way better.

O.K. but the computer games are much better.......

This is an okay game but there are a few problems...

PROBLEMS
1. it's pretty darn easy even on the HARD level.

2. you can get a touchdown just about every drive

3. you can intercept just about every pass

4. gameplay is too slow

5. The graphics are not too great

GOOD STUFF

1. You can create your own player

2. You can create your own team

3. It has some pro players and still the backyard kids

4. There are different stadiums

Well, thats all. The backyard games are better for other systems though so check those games out if you have PC or Game Cube.

This game rocks.

At first this game is too easy. But it has a lot of depth, you can create your own characters, or just pick up a game and play. The fun is in changing around your offensive and defensive playbook and in trading players to try to beat your opponents even better than you do. It's satisfying to win. I'm sick and tired of games like crash bandicoot that just get insanely difficult to win while getting all of the boxes, gems, and apples. I'm sick of playing the last boss of metroid fusion 100 times and still being defeated. I'm sick of having to conserve my bullet-time on Max-Payne only to waste it accidently right before a big battle with no way to replenish it without taking hits. So yeah, as far as Gameboy Advance Games go, Backyard Football Rocks.

My son LOVES this game! He can't stop playing it!

My 8 year old son LOVES this game. We got the 2003 version and he could not stop playing it.... Then for Christmas he begged for the 2004 version. He plays it for hours, without asking one question, which is saying a lot..... He also loves Backyard Baseball. We now have Backyard Football 2003 & 2004 for PC, and now Backyard Football for Gameboy .... so he can play against his friends.....

Way too easy, meant for young kids.

The game is way too easy if you're an experienced player. Even set on hard, it's not a challenge. The good point is that the play selection is extensive.
