I really enjoy this game and find that one puzzle can take me over a half an hour because I want to get the best possible score I can. I love the daily puzzles and trying to beat the top score. I tend to make words and then go back and forth trying to find a better one than the first one I am able to come up with. Great game I really reccommend it!!

WordJong is the best DS game for me. I loved words and spelling, and playing games. Building words, bettering your score is the fun of this game. Gives you a push to do better to better your score. Great fun brain game exercise.
So simple in theory...

No time limits, unlimited 'undo's, a simple concept - this game has to be a piece of cake! Not even close. While the idea (pulling off tiles to form words) is dead simple, winning the game is quite difficult.
I've only played the 'daily puzzle' version, as I have no one else to play against, so my review will really only cover that game mode. Still, that alone would be reason to buy it!
I like the fact that there are two levels of winning - clearing the board and beating the high score. You can clear the board and get partial credit for a win if your score isn't high enough, or you can clear the board and get the high score for the full win. It's nice to have an in-between stage for the times when you're not quite 'on' enough to get a full win.
My one and only quibble is the dictionary is not as full as I'd like. There have been several instances where I've tried to use words I know are correct, only to be told it was not in the dictionary. And with no way to add any, well, it's just a bit of a disappointment when you know you have a great word and can't use it.
This has quickly risen to be my favorite DS game, and I'd recommend it to anyone who loves words and puzzles... and has a lot of patience!

A great game for the spelling challenged. My son kind of stole this from me, he was amazed how much it has helped his spelling besides being fun. Myself, I wish they had more than one free tile. Still a fun game.

This game satisfies my Scrabble addiction. There could be
some variations to the layout to make it more fun. Then, I've
only played 30 days worth of it, maybe a new one is just around
the corner....

Excellent word game for the Nintendo DS. Many hours of addictive fun.
Only negative is that you must use up every single letter to end each game. There should be a way to end the game with a few letters remaining, by paying a penalty (reducing point score). Otherwise, a totally enjoying and addictive word game.
Great fun!

My husband bought me this game as my first DS game. What a great choice! It's fairly simple to learn the basics but a challenge to "win." I've been able to complete the games but only occasionally beat the games "high score" for the daily games. I admit I haven't tried most of them more than once but with a new puzzle for each day, I wish I had more time to play.
I love Wordjong!

I've played this game online and loved it. I was a bit hesitant about buying the game for the DS as I thought the letters might be too small to see, but my worries where unfounded. I can see detail just fine. The play is the same as the original game but it has added features, such as when you complete a level you are offered a fortune cookie and you are awarded higher rankings when you advance. I also bought Brain Age2 for mental exercise. It's fine, but Wordjong is more fun for me. I recommend this game.

We purchased a Nintendo DS and this game and Touchmaster for my 71 year old Mom. She had a few of the hand held card games, but were not lit so we got her the Ninetendo DS. I purchased Word Jong because Mom always enjoyed Scrabble and UpWords. Once she started playing she loved it, she has now moved up through the ranks and is now in the Diamond division. She is always striving to make longer words and to better her score. Yesterday on the Daily Game she had a higher score than the Master.

I love Scrabble type game. WordJong is very challenging. I've only played it a couple times. (hard to play it when my family has touchmaster in the DS) But I have really enjoyed playing it when i have. I highly recommend it to anyone that likes scrabble games. The neat thing is theres new puzzles daily.
