This game is the best racing game that I have ever played for Dreamcast. It beats Crazy Taxi by a longshot. I just got my dreamcast magazine today with a demo disc and this game was on the disc. The graphics are incredible, there are many modes, single race, battle, stunt, and practice, and it is also 4 players. I could only pick one car on the demo, but it handled very well. The controls are very simple. Buy this game now.
Another game that shows the Dreamcast is THE system to own!

I only have a demo disc from Official Dreamcast MAgazine with only one track, but I must say it lives up to the Rush name: Fast, agressive, fun, and exciting. My only gripe is that the 1track that I raced was a little on the boring side, but again, that was only ONE track out of six. A game that will tear apart the arcade racing genre, I am very excited for Rush's roar into home when its realesed. peace out
Great Game!

Rush 2049 is the best racing I have seen so far, because of great control, good graphics, and it's really fun. Anyone who owns a Dreamcast or a Ninendo 64, this is a must-buy. Plus, Rush 2049 offers an awesome multiplayer mode with Stunt, Battle, Head to Head racing and a lot more. The cars in this game are awesome, and they all come with wings. The controls are about the same as the others, San Fransisco Rush, and Rush 2, so you'll be doing insane stunts and getting blown to scrap in no time.
A different type of racing game.

SF Rush 2049 is an interesting twist on the non-traditional racer. It is similar to previous releases of the same title, but with updated graphics and so on. The controls are smooth and pretty simple to learn. The amount of cars, tracks, and different racing modes realy helps the replay value. The battle mode is great for taking breaks from just a normal (if you can call them normal) races. If you like racing games and are not a die hard sim/realism junky then you will love this game. For those that are, stear clear, it's not for you.
Rush is better than everything!! Buy it now!!

Sup dreamcast gurus! I just got Rush 2049 a couple days ago. It is the best thing I own. First, the graphics are slick, colorful and smooth, with little slowdown. Second, the sound is realistic and the techno soundtrack is awesome. Third, the gameplay. Oh god the gameplay. You get an "I'm not worthy" feeling when you see a sweet shortcut and realize by taking it you're missing about 20 more, the levels are so huge. For example...I drove up the side of a building, straight up, and landed. There was a whole network of other buildings up there that you could jump on to grab more bonus coins, or simply jump 1000 feet to your doom. How's that for complexity? How's this for a competitive edge--you are driving along, some jerk is in front of you and has cut you off. You hit a red switch on the ground and blam!!!! out comes a huge stone fist from a wall, out of nowhere, that smears him, while you zoom by him. Funniest thing in the world. Also, there are plenty of things to unlock so you'll never be bored (160 coins to find). The stunt mode is creative and mind-blowing. The wings let you do tricks you've never thought possible. Plus, the battle mode which is singlehandedly better than the whole Twisted Metal series is sweet. The weapons are hilarious too. Why buy stiff, stuffy, boring racing games where all you do is circle the same track repetitively (like Gran Turismo)? Why not hurtle through a windy clear full-pipe at 180 mph and fly past the competition instead of worry about "torque" and "cornering" and your geeky italian sports cars? Buy Rush instead.
Fun, easy, and exciting

As a social gamer, I was impressed by how easy this game was for my friends to pick up. They enjoyed the controls and graphics immediately. Trying to fly is a blast and a great addition to the race. There are many short cuts and options to explore, and the battle game is fantastic. The controls and set up of the battle mode are so well designed that I would have to rate it as the best car combat game I have ever played. Well above Twisted Metal and Vigilante 8. Hopefully the developers will consider making a deeper car combat game in the future!

We think this is the BEST Dreamcast game to-date! We have 3 people who play this game ages 12 to 50. We all think that it is a blast. I am sorry for the C ratings in some mags. I don't understand them; we think you have a Winner!!!!!! Thank you for the hours of "E" entertainment.

I'VE TRIED A LOT OF RACING GAMES FROM MANY DIFFERENT SYSTEMS BUT NOTHING COMES CLOSE TO THIS SIMULATION IN TERMS OF SPEED AND GRAPHICS. THE JUMPS USING YOUR CAR WINGS ARE NOTHING SHORT OF SPECTACULAR SPECIALLY WHEN YOUR ON A HIGH JUMP OVER LOOKING SAN FRANCISCO THE DETAIL OF THE LIGHTED BUILDINGS AT NIGHT YOU SEE AND HEAR THE CABLE CARS DOWN BELOW IS BREATH TAKING AND IF YOU'RE NOT CAREFUL YOU COME CRASHING DOWN RIGHT INTO AN INCOMING CABLE CAR BELOW. I DOUBT IF ANY SYSTEM OUT THERE OR IN THE FUTURE CAN SURPASS THIS OUTSTANDING GAME.
Great For Any Gamer

This game is great for any type of gamer ranging from 8 years to 50. This game is very simple to play. It may get boring after you have everything but when you play with your friends its a blast. This is a must get game for dreamcast. You can play stunt and show off your skills or you can battle eachother. If you think the battling is lame just try it and you'll see how cool it is.
