Just received the game today after waiting a month for it's release only to be extemely disappointed. I thought this would be great to play on a 52" screen. There is sooooo many graphics, constant view changes and movement, you never know where you or the ball is. At one point you are only viewing the top half of the machine so as you hit the ball and it begins to head to the bottom flippers you have no idea if you hit the ball until the full view returns and you see you've missed it. Too many time you cannot see the bottom flippers. I thought the 3-D effect would be nice, but it's horrible. I guess what I'm trying to say is everything is way too distracting. A "still" overhead view of the machine would be nice. There's even a time when all of a sudden you're seeing a side view of the machine - you try to hit the ball but of course you can't. This is the first pinball video game I've ever tried, maybe I'm just too use to playing on a real pinball machine where you can see the entire playing area at all times, but I must say this was a very annoying experience. Definitely getting rid of it. I should have known better than to buy it before any reviews came out. I've read great reviews about other games but I wanted one for the WII. I'm curious to read what others have to say. Guess I'll go back online (on Amazon of course) and continue my search for a fun pinball game.
Not even worth 1 star.

I completely agree with the previous review however I need to point out that you can switch to a full still view. Even when you do switch to this view however, the graphics are so horrible that it's even worse than playing in the standard hard to follow view. I was also looking very much forward to playing this game as I am a huge fan of the standard pinball that comes with windows but believe it or not, that simple free windows version of pinball is far superior to this game. I wouldn't waste $2 on this game.
Yep it's horrible

This game has been delayed for months and months. They must have been trying to work the kinks out. My disappointment after the long wait still makes me wonder how horrible this game must have been before they supposedly worked the kinks out. This game is so bad, and my excitement prior to playing it so high, that it reminds me of the times in the 80s when I would look forward to NES games based on movies I loved that would turn out to be horrendous such as Back to the Future. This game is an incoherent mess. Shame on everyone involved for releasing it. For a good (and addicting) Wii Pinball game, I suggest Pinball Hall of Fame: The Williams Collection. It's not perfect, but it seems like a masterpiece in light of "Scream" Pinball 3d.
You get what you pay for --- not much!

This is a $20 game, so remember that. A $20 game is not usually as good as a $50 game. This proves the theory. You have six tables for $20 so that sounds like a bargain, but sadly the joke is on us. I WISH I had waited for other reviews before spending my own $20 on this game but sadly I didn't.
The game had potential, but it just fails.
The tables are hard to see and the camera is so slow sometimes if the ball rapidly moves from the top to the bottom of the table, the camera doesn't catch up in time for you to see where it is, so if you don't react with an instinctive flipper press, you could just lose the ball because you couldn't see the bottom of the table in time.
They tried to create a "realistic" effect by adding a reflection of the back glass onto the surface of the pinball machine, but it is just distracting. Some of the flippers are so hidden you can't even see where they are until you activate them. The sound effects are annoying and repetitive (I know it's pinball, but still) and the amount of free balls I got in one game was insane and I wasn't even trying that hard.
I only gave it two stars instead of one because this wasn't a full priced game, so for $20 it has a little value. But once you play for more than an hour total, you will be about ready to get rid of this trainwreck. It had potential, but it falls far short.
Stay away and like others said, get the Williams Pinball game for a much better time!

I'll be brief.
The physics are wonky - the flippers feel like that old Space Cadet game that came free with Windows.
The smart cam is nauseating...and you lose balls because half the time the smart cam can't keep up. Full table view is an option but then you can't really tell what you're doing because the tables are busy and the graphics are muddy.
Table layouts are completely uninspired.
If you want an EXCELLENT pinball for the Wii get Williams Pinball Hall of Fame.
Go with Pinball Hall of Fame: Williams instead

Surprisingly bad pinball game; I have nothing against original layouts, but these are quite poor with no flow and way too many flippers. Physics is not horrible but flipper "animation" is non-existent. The camera tracking is awful leading to drained balls because the camera couldn't pan down to the flippers fast enough. Try the far superior Pinball Hall of Fame : The Williams Collection instead.

This is a very poor arcade pinball game. There are only six game tables to pick from and use of the controllers is confusing. The graphics are very poor and not very realistic. Loading time is long. Being that this is a Wii game, I was extremely disappointed since I felt I was playing a game from the old Atari days. There are much better quality pinball games out there than this one.
Skip this - get Williams Collection

Ugh! What a train wreck. I was looking forward to this after having so much fun with The Williams Collection, but this is not only not in the same league, but hardly deserves to be in the same console.
The in-game controls are the only decent thing about the game, and they are nothing special. The controls are wasted on tables that have difficult to see upper flippers.
Additionally, some of the camera views do not let you see the whole table, or at least the targets or ramps that you need to shoot. Yuck!
Graphics are pretty bad - and the menus look like they were done in 5 minutes.
There is not a huge amount of variety to the measly 6 tables - they look too much the same, hardly any personality to them.
It may be cheap, but it is still not worth what you pay for the game.
Save your money and get the Williams COllection - a far superior product for at most $5 more.

This game is a lot of fun especially if you enjoy pinball. I found myself really getting into playing as if I was using a real pinball machine. I haven't made it to the expert level yet, but I'm having a lot of fun getting there. It;s not a game you play sitting down that's for sure!
