This game is loads of fun especially if you have played Boktai thru Boktai3. It was fun to see the improvements they had made from the original Boktai. I love that it is a unique game that uses sunlight to power your weapon. And since I still have the other games that I can load into the GBA slot, getting the improvement weapons as bonuses onto Lunar Knights makes it that much more fun.
This game is the best!

This game is one of the most kick @$$ games that you will find. The fact that it continues the Boktai saga is enough, but there is much more to it. One thing I love about it is the fact that it incorporates nearly all of the DS's features like so.
Mic. Using Ezra, the ice terrenial's burst attack. Blow into it to rain ice on the enemy. Also blow into it to attract enemies, and if the terrenial is glowing, blow into it for a surprise.
Touchscreen: used in most burst moves, and used to fly your star ship wile trying to purify a vampire.
Multiplayer: you can battle friends, and use download play.
GBA slot. If you plug a copy of Boktai into the GBA slot, you get a new item in your valuables, the S.Sensor.
This is just a great all around game, and i recommend it.... (buy it or ELSE!!!)

This game is really. good. Not as good as the origional Boktai series, but great nonetheless. And if you go for all the titles, there is a LOT of gameplay.
Great!!!!!

In Lunar Knights we will have to be crossing great variety of mazmorras distributed by region that presents/displays us in game, to that we will accede marking on the touch screen the place that we wished to go, which eliminates the remarkable reconnaissance element that was in the Boktai saga, since in this one yes was a great region to explore freely. In this way, now we will have solely to worry to enter in each one of the mazmorras who will compose the main plot in the game, and its interior, to end the greater possible number of enemies until giving with the head of end of phase. At first, as we said, we will cross these zones alone, which will serve to us to make us with the simple control that the developers have implemented in the game, being returned equip with the great protagonism the meteorological effects although, the light sensor has not been including in this occasion.
Well is a great game of Kojima productions ^^

If you don't buy this, you're pretty much lame. I mean, Kojima has his own studio called "Kojima Productions". If you don't respect that there's definitely something wrong with you. Otherwise, go play another EA game. Tool.
great action game for the DS

Konami continues to crank out the solid DS titles. The core gameplay occurs on an isometric field as your characters slash/shoot through every enemy in sight. The solar gameplay from the Boktai series has been modified and runs from sunlight to moonlight during the game-time (you need the light to power your weapons). There are slight rpg elements (stat building and equipment, but that's pretty much it) and a touch screen shooter minigame when you defeat bosses. This game has a bit of everything, and does what it does pretty well. The main quest is kinda short, but there's plenty to do when you're finished. If you like action games that don't require much stylus use, pick this up.
Not bad! Not bad at all!

The game starts off pretty slow, but once you start unlocking your abilities and weapons and really get into the game it actually becomes quite fun. I would have liked so see some more in-depth RPG elements, and leveling up your characters is quite simple and one-sided, but the real-time combat is fun and challenging. Overall, I think this game is worth owning.
Repetitive and mediocre

I bought this game after reading several positive reviews and a high ranking across the board on different video game sites. Which makes me scratch my head and ask, am I missing something? The RPG aspect of the game is not at all deep, and the mechanics are clunky. The action is repetitive and can largely be avoided to get through a map--which make dungeons quite boring. The best part of the game is the full-motion video clips that open the game and occur after defeating a boss--and even that becomes repetitive. The gameplay that requires the DS' touch screen and mic are clearly tacked on, and this could have easily been a GBA cart, even with the anime clips. It makes me long for the original Golden Sun on GBA, which would much better benefit from the DS' dual screen.

THis game has been compared to dragonquest rocketslime, and scurge on the DS. This is good as both of those are great titles. However, if you do not like those types of games, you will probably want to pass on this game. However, if you do like them, this game is Awesome!!! Really, this is one of the best games out on the system currently. This game has lots of creativity (you can even use the old solar sensor from previous games in the series for this game). Seriously, this game is lots of fun, and it lives up to the series namesake. If you can only get one game for the DS this would be a top contender!!!
Better than Boktai

First there was Boktai, then Boktai 2. Both of these games were not so popular among gamers, mainly because of its difficult availability, and for the people who owned it, it was a large hassle to play, mainly because of the solar sensor. Imagine you are a child receiving this game on Christmas morning, and start playing immediately. But, alas! You cannot make it past the first dungeon without sunlight! So you have to wait until summer to play it. With Lunar Knights, you can control two characters, Aaron and Lucian, as well as an in-game weather system. Yes the solar sensor has been trashed! This is a great game for any gamer, with great puzzles and a well thought out story, if not a little short. A great addition to any gamers collection.
