The pro-pinball series is the best. If you've played any other computer pinball simulations, be ready to be impressed. See the entire gamespace reflected in the spinning balls, listen to great music, follow an entertaining and humorous plot. This game is not one of those that you play a couple of times and then put away forever; the gameplay is as infinitely variable as the physics modeling is realistic. You can adjust any aspect of the game from flipper strength and table angle to the scoring. You can even let the game "run in" and "run down" as would a real table in your basement. This game was designed as if it were in the real world. An amazing accomplishment. Also look for their previous title: Big Race USA! If you spent hours playing pinball as a kid, grab this game and leave your quarters behind. If you've always been curious about who or what a "pinball wizard" is, now's your chance. Really a perfect blend of game and computer.

I ordered this game to use on a Powerbook G4-Aluminum (1.67 Mhz) with 1G RAM.
Had to install Classic for it to install. Once loaded, a warning dialogue box frequently interupted the game informing me that the "VERTICAL BLANK TIMING FAILED". Then the game quits to desktop. Bottom line; This game is unusable to me. If anyone knows how to solve this problem, disregard. But BEWARE OSX users.

the pinball game with the most sights and sounds!

I have bought this game and it has been really great. The best things about it are the tubes the ball slides through. There are loads of them. The sounds are excellent, the game feels very realistic and looks good. It is a little bit expensive compared to other games I've bought. The instructions are a bit hard to understand and there are a lot of key commands for nudges etc. but you don't need to know that anyway. Hours of fun!

And you can play at 3:00 a.m., if you want!

An excellent simulation of arcade pinball. It can be adjusted for many skill levels, and has many features that allow you to explore the beautiful artwork. My only complaint is a bug when one of the apparatuses works, but as I'm hardly ever good enough to get to that point, it's not really a problem.

Worthless on New Mac Machines!!!

I am in complete agreement with the last reviewer. I have a new PowerBook Duo with 2G RAM. The only way this cheap game will run is to install System Classic 9.0 in addition to Mac OS X. Once loaded, a warning dialogue box frequently interupted the game informing me that the "VERTICAL BLANK TIMING FAILED". Then the game quits to desktop. Bottom line; This game is unusable to me and I felt ripped off! No where in the item description are the system requirements clearly stated or specified, so by at your own risk... BEWARE ALL OSX users!
