I have not played a really good Star Wars game since the one for the N64 many, many years ago. I will now have to add Lego Star Wars to the small list of great Star Wars games.

First and foremost, this is a fun game which I would almost think is not for the real, real hard-core gamer. If you only like GTA or God of War, this might not be for you but if you like a bit of silly in your games this is one to look at. It is also a good game if you want something to play with your kids or other younglings. The violence is very cartoony but you still have Lego heads rolling around so you still get gore, be it plastic gore.

The game play is pretty straight forward...controls are easy to learn. Lots of stuff to unlock which makes for repeating levels and thus extended game play adding to your gaming dollar value. True, when all is unlocked and all levels are completed I will probably never touch this game again but in 4 months of casual gaming I have only about 19% of the game completed.

As an added bonus, many of the cut-scenes range from cute to really funny. I am not sure if I really like this because of the Lego or Star Wars aspect. I guess it is the perfect combination of the two. Hopefully with Lego Indy and Batman coming out, they same creativity and humor will be used to make those two games as enjoyable as this.

The one down side I have found is 'peg grinding' for lack of a better term. You earn pegs of various values with which you can buy / unlock items. There are many places where the pegs are free but you have to spend quite a bit of time chopping and breaking a lot of things to get the pegs. Basically, I spend the first 15 minutes after logging in 'peg grinding' to maximize my unlockables. It is not that you must do this but I cannot imagine how long it would take to unlock a lot of the stuff if you did not take advantage of these pegs...it just wastes time which I find to be a bit of a downer.

So, take this 4/5 as a really good review. I am not even sure what a 5 might be so I am saving it for the game or item that changes my life. In all this is a very good game. I am very selective about 360 games as I prefer the Wii but I had to have this for the 360.

Extremely fun for all ages!

I bought this game simply for the fact that it is a Star Wars title and I love Star Wars and what made this game so entertaining was the simple fact that it takes a bit of a humorus spin on the movies themselves. It also ties in some very satifying gamer points for instance: Crowd Pleaser is nothing more than killing Jar Jar more than twenty times. I don't know about you but I took great pleasure in acheiving that mark. The thing that makes it fun for all ages is that the only violence that there is in this is the characters break into lego pieces. Nothing but fun at every turn!

Fabulously Fun

Thoroughly enjoyed this game. It's very long, so you get your money's worth. With Xbox 360 you can obtain all achievements without any online play. I recommend you use the Xbox forums to help you when you get stuck. Looking forward to Lego Batman & Indiana Jones.

I upgraded from the prior two versions of Lego Star Wars I had on my Xbox and it was well worth it. Game is great and gameplay just like the originals - awesome. Upgrades are okay but I was not overly impressed with the ability to mix and match characters from each. Overall still a great title especially if you do not own the other versions.

Great Fun For Anyone, Regardless of Age

"Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga" is a fun and entertaining videogame for both children and adults alike. All six "Star Wars" films are represented in six separate games, which each game containing six levels. First you must play a level in "story" mode: meaning that you must play that level using characters as defined by the game. Once you complete a level, you can replay it in "free mode", which allows you to play it with any characters that you have unlocked to that point. A variety of items are hidden in each level, some of which cannot be accessed until you can play that level in "free mode". For example, some areas are only accessible to bounty hunters and some objects can only be accessed using the dark side of the force.

With each level successfully completed, the player earns a gold Lego block; and the more Lego pieces that are collected while playing a level, the more Lego "money" is earned, as well as the possibility of earning "Jedi status" for that level, which earns yet another gold Lego block. Finding hidden items in each level may unlock other abilities that can be purchased if you have earned enough Lego money. XBOX-360 Achievements are earned for completing each film-based game, as well as for other game accomplishments.

Since the game's developers went to great lengths to recreate the look and feel of the "Star Wars" universe, as well as the plot of each film, in a Lego-format, "Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga" is an immersive game that is sure to provide many hours of entertainment and fun to anyyone. Hence, my overall rating for "Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga" is a resounding 5 out of 5 stars and I highly recommend it.

Made for kids, guilty pleasure for adults ;)

I was a little skeptical about these games ever since they came out. I had never played any of them and finally my curiosity got the best of me and I bought this game yesterday. Boy have I been missing out!!! This game is one of the most fun games I have ever played. You will love this game, especially if you love Star Wars like I do, or like Legos like I used to.

The combination of Star Wars and Legos is perfect. The gameplay is very smooth and very entertaining. This game brings me back to when I was a kid playing with Legos and I love that about this game. The game follows the movies very well also.

All six movies in one game = awesome. Also my girlfriend and I played this game for 3 hours straight last night. She does not like video games but she loved this one. There is no blood or gore, just Legos breaking apart so this game would be great for kids.

Overall a great game and I would recommend to everyone, even if you don't like Star Wars or Legos it would be fun (although a lot more fun if you do).

Good Fun, Great Game Play--A must in your collection

I've played them all---Half Life series, Quake... and even Star Wars First FPS Dark Forces, all great games and I must say that I had a blast playing this game. It's not often that you play a game and find yourself laughing, and in this game just the expressions of the characters can make you do that. I played this at my Brothers house and spent a few hours with my Nephews and then with my Brother and we played it until I could not even keep my eyes open.
Graphics are basic, but yet very smooth and there are no problems with camera angles and controls. This game makes it very easy to get into so you can do just one thing---Enjoy the game and have fun. The game play action is sometimes interrupted with puzzles you need to solve in order to open doors and stuff like that, but that is what game of this type is all about.
Do I own this game? No Am I going to buy it? Hek yea, this might be the game that will get my wife into console gameing-----Oh ObiWon, don't fail me know, you are my last hope for gaming wife.
Enjoy the game, May the Force be with you!

Great Fun!
