First this game looked awesome but when I played it (...) .Its so boring and the graphics (...). Its really ok but compared to NFL FEVER it bites. It is also pretty confusing to start a mode or something.

DO NOT GET MADDEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

THIS GAME IS HORRIBLE. I RENTED IT ...AND WAS MAD WHEN I PLAYED IT.HERE IS HOW I RATED IT

GAMEPLAY-0 STARS- EVEN ON THE VIKINGS RANDY MOSS CAN'T CATCH A THING!!

GRAPHICS-0 STARS- ITS LIKE MADDEN 99 ON N64. NOT MEANT FOR XBOX.

OTHER- 1 STAR- WHEN YOU CREATE A TEAM YOU CAN ACTUALLY PICK YOUR TEAM COLORS AND THERE IS NO DRAFT. SO YOU STILL HAVE A GOOD TEAM

This game has OK graphics. It's gameplay SUCKS, everything SUCKS!

Madden went way down hill with this release. Why are the players heads so large, and why are they smiling all the time? I am not impressed.

maybe it's just me, it seems I have no control over what's going on, I can't get a running game going, it seems like there is three seconds of actual gameplay and then 1 minute of play calling and instant replays. I played NFL Fever and it kept my interest much better. Is it really necessary to have 3 million different defensive formations?

I gotta give it 1 star. (Sorry guys) This was the 1st game I bought for my X. Then came NFL 2K2! "There's a new sheriff in town." In my opinion, EA sports and Madden have lost their touch, cuz Sega Sports & Visual Concepts are developing far superior sports titles. I used to be such a huge fan of EA sports games too. Personally, I love John Madden, nothing but respect, but his game disappointed me a lot compared to NFL 2K2.
If you're looking for the best football game on the XBOX I gotta say look elsewhere and go with NFL 2K2. Peace.

holding penalties are ridiculous

Great graphics and some very realistic features but I am furious over the number of holding plays I keep getting especially when I use a superior team over another i.e. the all madden team vs. a regular team. The regular team rarely gets called for holding while I get called nearly a third of the time and on running downs. THAT IS BULL PLOP.

The commentary also needs a lot of work on better coordinating and adding many more so we don't hear the same thing over and over.

Also there are waaaay to many receivers dropping the ball on well thrown passes.

this game wasn't the best. The players have huge heads and the graphics look are not great,looks the same as ps2's madden. If you haven't bought this game on ps2 than don't buy it on xbox. don't waste your money on madden on xbox. If you want a football game I would buy nfl 2k2, or nfl fever.

Madden 2002 doesn't look to raise the bar significantly past last year's version, while rivals NFL Fever 2002 and NFL 2K2 look to be a lot less arcadey and more fluid. I guess if you're a Madden fan, this is for you. But if you want a solid game of football and don't mind learning a new game, I'd go for NFL Fever 2002 or NFL 2K2.

Madden is as good as ever on this game but i have to admit that Nfl Fever is better. Don't get me wrong i love madden each year i wait for it to come out. I got madden first, played, thought it was a great game. Then i went to best buy, i saw an xbox and wondered what game was on there so i tried it out. the game was NFL Fever and i am stunned madden better start making something greater and better or for the next 10 years its gonna be NFL Fever once after another (we madden fans all know that madden started on sega genesis and kept going to today). Thats right fokes madden is running for its money (scary aint it?) if madden wants to keep on going for the next ten years it better think up something better than Nfl Fever (which i think is going to be mission impossible for madden).

Ps The reviewer that said that madden on the xbox is the exact same thing as on ps2 i want to ask you one question why did you buy it for xbox if u had it on ps2? WHen i buy a game i only buy it on one console.
