I am an avid video game player, so please take heed to my words if your thinking on purchasing. Even though it is a James Bond game, it absouletly sucks. I ahve probally played every game out there, and this low on the list
It's like they took F.E.A.R. and made it James Bond, and added a little daylight and took away the girl and blood. This game lacked everything a action game needs. Lame, lame, lame.

This is, contrary to what others say, a good game. While the graphics are not the best, and the single player is slightly sub-par, it is still fun. After all, the multipalyer is where it's at. There are like 10 different guns, 4 standard, 6 i have never seen before. Ever. You got guns that shoot through walls, big rotating guns, disentegrators(did i spell that right?), little zappy thing that doesn't even stun 'em,(why is that there? it has no use.) even this weird green thing that poisons people! The multiplayer is very fun, with deathtraps,multiple skins,exclusive guns,and the ability to shoot seagulls!poor seagull:( Anyway, i don;t get why people are rating it so bad. The A.I is actually pretty smart. Not much on F.E.A.R, but... Plus, all you people that give it bad reveiws are probaly just guys that are addicted to Halo and are upset that you can't spell. Here's an example of your reveiw:"i dnt lke ths gam bcze it si stoopid nd teh 2plyr stoopid to. xbiox stink lke mnkys nd teh wiii do to PS3 si teh bomb bcze it bst nd haz movey cntrlr butt wiii cpyd PS3 nd si bd PS3 RLE!!" So, there is my review. Final word: pretty good.

This game is more like an arcade game, it could have been better, if it wasn't rushed.

The Definitive Review: Goldeneye: Rogue Agent for XBX

I just recently bought this title for about $20, and i did enjoy the game while playing through most of it up to the end.The few things that pose some frustration is the fact the enemies, even on easy, are impossible, this new standard of AI is a good thing, and i like a challenge every once in a while, but there is a certain taser weapon that comes into play close to the end of the game that kills enemies in one shot, which means, since were all human here, you can die in one shot. Im explaining this for the fact that you can shoot one shot out of this perticular gun, but for some reason they fire in three shot bursts. This will become extremely furstrating towards the end of the game, as constant deaths will move your interest elsewhere. The levels in Rogue Agent are substandard at best, however, the main course of each mission seems to be the same, Go through level, kill baddies, go down levels to "a main control room or explosive of some kind" and destroy the entire complex. You will notice this repetative objective. The enemies are smart, but when they have simple bullet weapons, it wont be too difficult to take alot of them down, at least without a few tries, use of your "Golden Eye" is imperative at times.

Multiplayer: Through Xbox Live, Goldeneye: Rogue Agent can be enjoyied as a small short lived enjoyment. The most appealing part of the multiplay is not the play at all, but more the multiplay locals, based on important scenes in our favorite James Bond movies such as Goldeneye or You only Live Twice and others. Unfortunately you dont have the characters to those levels to enjoy the full experience, but oh well. Some secrets within the levels, such as buttons to activate something, or trap doors to open and create a deadly fall are thrown throughout the multiplay levels. Once you get used to the controls of Goleneye: RA through Single player, you will have a more enjoyied experience in multiplayer, if single player hasnt frustrated you to the point of not playing it.

I suggest, by any means, you rent this title before deciding to purchase it, if spending 20 or 18 bucks is no problem, then go right ahead, but i suggest you experience what ive said here first, thought expericne from person to person may vary.

I actually purchased this game as it was on sale and I was looking for a new 1st person shooter to play. I was a huge fan of Golden Eye on the N64. I like the fact that you gain different abilities through the robotic eye like being able to see through walls and the shield. One of the best parts of the game is seeing through a wall and capping the bad guy before he knew what happened. The different weapons are fairly cool. The graphics are pretty well done. The story line is a bit strange, so I don't know if true diehard Bond fans will enjoy the game. As a shooter it is not too bad. I enjoyed playing it, but the problem is some missions are extremely easy as others are almost impossible. The controls are fairly smooth.

Pros: Pretty good variety of weapons to choose from. It has a different type story line. A bit different than the typical shooter.

Cons: Not for the diehard Bond fan. The controls could be a little better. I played multiplayer with a few friends and it took them a bit of time to get adjusted to the controls.

Overall: Not a bad stand alone shooter, but I would not recommend it to everyone. The game does grow on you if you give it a chance. Maybe it is better to rent it 1st.

This game is one of the years worst games. Terrible multiplayer and the 1st player mode i got bored with after ten minutes. Save your money!!!!!!!!Dont buy this game!!!!!!!!!!

So I picked this game up for like 50 bucks at the store and bring it home to play it. I'm running around what seems like circles because the levels are so friggen repetetive, not to mention the dumbest ai ever. Anyways, I come to a ledge and discover....oh my gosh....james bond can't jump, or hop or any kind of physical action for that matter! This game is a total letdown. Graphics suck, guns are decent, ai sucks,= game sucks. Do yourself a favor and don't buy this game.

It is fun for a while, but then it is repetitive. The weapons are good, and so is dual wielding.

By the way, the person who said Bond dies is wrong. If he would have watched the cutscene after the level, he would have seen that Bond is fine, they were just in a simulator.

Wtf has EA done with the best FPS?!? This game just plain sucks. Need I say more?
The graphics look like a frigan DS game! Only the guns look good. The envioments and bad guys look horrible. Wait, are'nt you a bad guy? So why the (...) are you fighting other bad guys?!? The sound? Sucktacular. Mid-level music and sound effects really take you out of this. Lastly, I have been an avid gamer since I was 4 and I found this game unbeatable even on "Easy"! EA, please, please, pleeeeze, learn from this. This is total crap. Avoid at all costs. This is a waste of money.

Can you say biggest disappointment of the Goldeneye genre? This is exactly that. These graphics look like they're from the old N64 games! The sound is repetitive. You can take people hostage and use them as human shields though! Oh yeah, did i mention the enimies can do that too? Ugh... what was EA thinking here?
What else sucked? Storyline. You get fired from MI-6. Then you go and cry yourself to sleep and join the evil dudes, like Pussy Galore and Oddball. You play as a badguy! What the heck!? Oh, and James Bond's death comes in this game! Bond, the man who can never be defeated, the man who has always come out on top, is hanging from a helicopter and falls. Thats it. Wait a minute... that's it!? This is James Bond here! That's like Jesus slipping on a puddle and hitting his head on a table instead of being cruscified. THis game sucks. Avoid at all costs.
