Pretty fun game

It took me about 3 hours to complete the whole easy campaign and overall it was quite fun. I thought that the campaign was too short and the ending wasn't very good. The multiplayer is horrible though

very fun

This game is soooo fun and can be easy and also chalenging. I love the infastructure mode where you can play on the internet if you own a wifi hotspot. You can play people from around the world. It's pretty insane. I'm terrible on the online mode. But the only hard part about it is that the controls, to look, you press the triangle, circle, x, and square buttons. And to move forward, backward, strafe from right to left, you have to use the analog. But the buttons are further apart than the arrow keys, so it makes it a little more chalenging. But there is a southpaw control layout if your good! Overall, I'd give this game a five out of five because for one, I'm not a harsh judge, and two, there are the coolest graphics I've ever seen for the psp, and three, I love too kill stuff and if you're in the same league, then you will LOVE this game. If you are reading this review, I am totally giving you my advise, BUY THIS GAME!!!

Buy Grand Theft Auto Instead

Did you want to know why Electronic Arts, maker of this game, is trying to buy Take Two Interactive, maker of the Grant Theft Auto games? Well, play GTA Liberty City or Vice City Stories for the PSP then play this junk game, Metal of Honor. Although the graphics are good, the game play limited, boaring and more defined by what you cannot due. No, you cannot get into that truck, you cannot get into that car, you cannot take that machine gun with you, you can not go back the way you came, you cannot get over the hill next to you, you cannot climb over that six inch tall rock (on anyting else)and you cannot pick up more weapons (2 only). You can go only ONE way -- it is a closed one-way map -- you have NO OPTIONS. If you have ever played the GTA games, you know how great the open map games are. This is not one of them. There is only ONE way to do any mission. Some of the mission are timed and are so difficult that they are not fun (my job is aggravating enough, I am not interested in aggravating games). I am sure there are many better games you could spend you $[...] on.

A Steady Shooter Worthy Of Your PSP Library

Before you buy this game, you need to know one thing: this is basically the original Heroes, with a few things thrown in. If you already own the original Heroes, the only reason why you should buy this game is for the online play, which I will get too soon.

I've always been iffy about World War II shooters, because they always feel the same to me. Call of Duty on the PSP was an OK game, but never really lived up to the amazing impact of the previous games. I have to admit, at first this game came across to me as just another standard and tried-and-true shooter. But as you play through the game you actually want to get those unlockables, you actually want to get those medals, etc. If a first person shooter is missing in your library, this is a very worthy one to fill in that spot.

Graphics - 9/10: The character models, guns, and overall environments are obviously a step up of the previous Heroes. It definitely pushes the limits of the PSP. The only thing that I found wrong was the character animations were lacking. When you kill someone (especially online) the person sometimes just stands their and disappears. And grenades don't send someone diving or keeling over, but they just get it and fall to their feet. Kind of irked me.

Sound - 10/10: Obviously the games strong point. Music, voices, gunshots, explosions... this has got it all.

Gameplay - 8/10: I found myself occasionally wanting the dual analog of the PS2, but the controls are very tight. Although, sometimes just feels to much of that generic FPS feel.

Depth - 7.5/10: The campaign is utterly short, should take about 2 to 4 hours, depending on the difficulty, but online play is where it's at. Up to 32 people (including you) in one map.

Overall - 8/10

The bottom line of all of this is that this is a very steady and strong first person shooter. Online play is easily the strongpoint of it. It's phenomenal. If your missing a first person shooter in your library, you should definitely consider picking this up.
