This is a fun game, but only for the first 2 days. This game is very short, but you may have to expect that since it is an arcade game. The graphics are not good for this game. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME, ONLY RENT IT.
It's fun...for about five minutes

Arcade conversions usually aren't the best games out there, mainly because arcade games play by different rules. They're meant to be easy to pick up and able to hold onto your attention for a little while. But when they're brought to home consoles, they get old fast. And Dynamite Cop gets old very fast. You punch the bad guys with a variety of weapons for about fifteen minutes, then the game ends. That's it. Not too impressive.
It's no Streets Of Rage, but it has a few strong points

Dynamite Cop is a 1-2 player, 3D beat-em-up in the tradition of Final Fight and Streets Of Rage. You choose from one of three characters (plus a couple of secret ones) and pummel your way through room after room of thugs. The graphics and sound are decent, and retain the same feel as Diehard Arcade. The action is quite frantic compared to other games in the same genre, and it is a bit on the short side (it only takes about 15-20 minutes to beat), but Dynamite Cop does offer a few new fun elements. The ability to use almost anything as a weapon is one of the main draws of the game. Pistols, grenades, rocket launchers, tables, chairs, and even food can be utilized to dispose of opponents. Torturing the enemies with grapples and throws is also an extremely fun feature. It could have been longer and more in depth, but if you are looking for a 2 player brawler and some cheap thrills, Dynamite Cop is a decent pick. Especially if you consider that there aren't many quality games of this type around anymore.
Dynamite Cop...it isn't as "dynamite" as it seems

I bought this game thinking that it would take up hours of my time, and that it would be fun. I was right in thinking that it was fun, but the game is WAY too short. There's almost no strategy in this game... if you know how to mash the buttons repeatedly for a long time then you'll beat this game in about twenty minutes. Sure there are a plethora of weapons to use, and you can play with a friend cooperatively (or against each other) but it won't entertain you forever. Although you get to chose from three players (and chose from three differennt starting points) all routes in the game are basically the same. If you like fighting games with tons of weapons, then get it. However, if you want to be satisfied with a game for more than twenty minutes, I'm sure you can find something better...
Lots of Fun

I really like Dynamite Cop!
The game is a sort of a choose your-own-adventure, side-scrolling fighter. You've got to defeat the pirates and rescue the President's daughter. There are 3 missions - READ: 3 different ways to board the ship - and while they all eventually lead to the same ultimate confrontation, there is a good deal of variety depending on which entry route you choose.
There is actually a great deal of sophisticated moves - more than you'd think - like grabs that break bones in 13 different joints before you let go of an opponent, and when you've got your hand gun, you can arrest a perp, or even force them to empty their pockets for goodies.
There are also animated sequences periodically where you've got to hit the right button at the right time to succeed, and missing them is sometimes more fun than hitting them. Actually, this game is pretty funny - intentionally so
Yes, you CAN defeat each mission in about 20 minutes apiece, which at first really disappointed me, but there are a lot of extras, artwork to collect and hidden/alternate characters to unlock, and I've found replay value pretty high, especially with two players. If I could change one thing, I would make it longer.
Loads of fun with a friend (including a vs. mode). And survival mode is a challenge when playing solo.
I'm 24/m.

Ok, you turn on the game and you think wow! These graphics are awesome and you feel real good that you picked such a good game. But five minutes later when you beat the whole game it makes you feel really stupid. All that you get when you beat the game is a pathetic aracade game that has got to be 45 years old. For some games, when you beat them you can't wait to play it again; NOT WITH THIS GAME! A replay the game is NOT an option. The game barely keeps you awake when you play it for the first time let alone the second! Unless you like feeling like you have WASTED 50 dollars then DONT buy this game but if you like wasting money go right ahead.
This game only lasts for a very short time!

I quess I am kind of interested in the new Sega games becausethey are getting so real looking. This game is a real disappointment.I completed it in only 30 minutes! It's much to easy and it doesn't spark your imagination at all! I still don't understand how Sega could have approved of this game and let it be shipped to the market.
I do recommend Toy Commader, however. That is a really fun game to play. It also sparks your imagination. END
Great game - for 20 minutes.

That's not the demo you were playing - it's the whole game! Dynamite Cop is an action game similar to Streets of Rage. You control one of three members of a Special Forces unit to infiltrate a hijakced cruise liner and rescue the hostagse. Moves consist of punck, kick, or punck and kick while the bad guys vary from young punk to young pink with red cape on. The game has alot of action, however, and it very fun. That is until you finished it in 20 minutes. Replay value is nill since it's exact same game everytime you play.
Short lived fun at best

Worthy of a rental, but that's about all it's worth. It only took me fifteen minutes to finish the game. Good graphics, but no replay value.
