Tigger's Honey Hunt is a very cute, all-around game for families. The honey hunt itself will challenge both adults and young children to find all the honey pots so Pooh can have a party. In order to get special "bounces," you have to defeat certain levels first. That's what makes the game somewhat difficult as there are specific areas of the game you'll have to return to later once you're able to bounce high enough. Adults will be challenged for roughly the first six levels, but find the rest of the game a breeze. Kids will enjoy finding the hidden places and completing individual quests for the Tigger cast.

The graphics are beautiful and well-thought out with nice touches such as falling leaves, waterfalls, floating elephants, the sparkling trail Tigger leaves when he jumps extra high, and so on. Each level also begins with a small video clip from the older Winnie the Pooh episodes. Once you complete the honey hunt game, you will be able to see a "photo album" of the levels you've completed. There are "mini-games" (such as "Rock, Paper, Scissors," "Simon Says," "Sticks," and etc) for younger children who don't necessairly want to play the main honey hunt game.

The downside to the game is that the instruction booklet is completely useless as it basically repeats what Owl already tells you in the game. There is a programming error that somehow prevents the game from showing up as "100% complete," even though all the honeypots in every single level have been collected. The game will truly be completed, but the scores will not reflect that nor will all the photos show up in the "album" as well. No explanation of this can be found online or in the instruction booklet. Although somewhat annoying, please do not let this programming oversight interfere with the enjoyment of the game. If you liked the movie, you'll love the magic of Tigger's Honey Hunt!

Although signficantly easier, this is where the Spyro games should be heading: More character interaction, minimovies, and a beautiful 3D world. The game is straightforward -- Tigger looks for honey pots along with miniquests given to him by his friends -- avoiding woozles, hephalumps, spooky trees, water, crows, bats and prickly thorns along the way. My only beef with the game is the baffling lack of instructions -- what's the timer for? How come we finished and are only 61% done? Still, little kids (the target audience) won't mind a bit and parents can, I suppose, look in a hint book for the answers ... there is a hint book, right?

I recently read I review on this game, that stated that the game had "an error", and that though you have collected all the honey pots, it would not show that you have. This is no error. This gamer also said that "the manual was useless". Well, maybe if they had read the manual, they would uderstand this "error". There are to different bounces that Tigger can learn in later levels. Once you learn both bounces, you must go back in the game to the secret ares. You can find these by looking for the honeypots in the shape of an arrow. Follow the arrow to find the missing honeypots. The reviewer I am reffering to is wrong, and should not influence your decision to buy the game. It has beautiful graphics, nice details, and all of the lovable Pooh cast. It's different than most games because there is no violence or gore. It will definetly please any gamer, young or old.

Tigger's Honey Hunt is a wonderful game that leaves behind a lot of the violence and gore of other video games. It replaces these unfriendly aspects with a quaint, detailed setting, complete with brilliant rainbow colors and a great depiction of the Hundred Acre Woods. The music is relaxing and gentle, and won't hurt your eadrums like some game soundtracks.

You play as Tigger to find honey pots for Pooh's party that are hidden on each level. You must avoid obstacles like stinging bees, heffalumps, woozles, and bats to find your honey pots. Every few levels there are mini-games that you play to master special bounces to help you reach honey. You also collect scrapbook pictures during the game. These are gained as a reward for helping a friend find a certain object in each level.

At the end of the game, you can go back through the levels to find any honey you missed at the beginning because you were missing special bounces. These places are marked by an arrow made of honey, so keep track of where you have seen them! You can also view your scrapbook, or play one of the three mini-games.

This is a great family game, and was designed with care. From the timeless video clips at the beginning of each level, to the reward of helping Pooh at the end of the game, this is a wonderful game. I reccomend it highly to gamers of all ages.

My little girl loves this game, it has a good story to it and keeps kid's attention for a while. True to Winnie the Pooh there is no voilence and just wholesome fun. Well worth it for a 4 years old that like Pooh bear.

Tigger's Honey Hunt is really fun. As Tigger, you collect honey pots to help Pooh have a party. You have to avoid "heffalumps" and "woozles", bees, and other obstacles. There are also three mini-games where you can learn special bounces to help Tigger find more honey pots. You also find scrapbook pictures that you can look at when you've finished the game. The pictures are really cute, and the levels look realistic and cheerful. My mom bought me this game for my birthday, and I really love it! Any Winnie-the-Pooh fan will enjoy this game.

First, let me say that this is the first PS One game I have bought, which may be influencing my perception of the graphics. I have an N64 and a PS2, and I am playing the game on a PS2, which is supposed to improve the graphics a bit.

So, to my eye at least, the graphics are really terrible--the characters look very boxy and colorless, as does the background. The game looks, to me, like games that were being made ten years ago. I seem to remember Sonic the Hedgehog (the first one), having much better graphics than this, though it did not attempt such intricate backgrounds.

However, my child probably does not mind. My largest complaint about the game is that there is not a super-easy first level or area where my toddler could just run the character around and have fun. The first level includes several areas where you have to jump onto moving leaves, or where you can get attacked to "death" by bees if you don't run away from them quickly enough. Such items are necessary for good gameplay, but not in the first level. I think that by the time my child can master such obstacles with ease, she will be more discerning about the graphics, so I wish I hadn't bought the game.

THIS IS A CUTE GAME, BUT IT GET'S A LITTLE TOO HARD FOR A PRESCHOOLER AFTER THE FIRST FEW LEVELS. POOH'S PARTY IS EASIER FOR YOUNGER CHILDREN.

Too Hard for Young Kids

I was looking for a good introductory game for my (very soon to be 6 years old) daughter. I thought this one, since it is rated for 3 years and older, would be a good one to try. Well, once I finally figured out what was going on in the different games, I began to show it to her. I doubt there are many 5 year olds, and certainly no 3 year olds, who are going to understand the main game. The mini-games are easier to understand, but were next to impossible for her to do very well on. I played it for about 2 hrs. to figure it out, and she played with it for a thoroughly confused half hour, then moved on to a different toy. It hasn't been out of the box again.

A good choice for younger children

My children really enjoy this game. Both kids are still mastering the technicalities of playstation games. My six year old adores this game. My three year old has difficulty with the jumping, as the types of jumping increase in difficulty as the game progresses. I too had fun sitting down and playing this game, but when I reached the end of the game it was almost anti-climatic... it just lets you replay levels for a better time. My daughter has not reached the end yet, and she thinks it is good fun. This is another game that is fun for beginners, although I doubt that more advanced children would want to play it after the first month... it is not that difficult to master if you know how to maneuver the controls.
